This Duna La Quinta 180 degree view townhome is totally outfitted for the desert lifestyle.The three full bedrooms and baths are ideally situated for the most comfortable stay, whether it is couples, teens or in-laws, the downstairs suite with patio is private. The upstairs bedrooms offer a master on the fairway with patio and views and the third bedroom upstairs has a balcony with views of the jagged mountain tops behind the Resort.
This unit is located on the Fairway of the second hole of the Dunes course of the famed La Quinta Resort, but is away from the tee, green and cart path for privacy and quiet. This end unit has the feel of a free-standing home with patios or views from the great room and upstairs bedrooms.
This condominium is furnished in tasteful and elegant Tommy Bahama style decor and comes equipped with everything. The quality linens include pool towels and the unit was just painted and carpeted so that it is fresh and very clean. We even provide the coffee! There are two bicycles and a large heated pool and spa just a few steps from the unit. The pool is rarely used as the unit is at the end of this gated community and will almost be all yours.
TVs with cable, DVD and video player are provided along with FM/stereo wired throughout the unit. Bring your CDs and sit back and watch the Santa Rosa mountains change with the light of each time of day. The gas fireplace gives ambiance and the propane BBQ is ready for your use. There is a washer and dryer for those with little ones and the kitchen has all you need to cook up a storm if you choose.

Rate Details (In US Dollars)
2009/2010 High Season= November 20 2009 to June 1 2010,$275 a night,
$1800 a week, $4000 per month.There is a non-refundable cleaning fee
of $100 per rental.Deposit is $500 for less than a week,$750 for 2
weeks and $1000 for a month. Rates after June 1,2009 are $175
a night, some holidays may be have a surcharge just inquire.
We can take credit cards or you can mail a check in advance.Paypal
is preferred,user name. The balance
of your rent is due 10 days prior to your stay.

Why the Owner Chose Duna La Quinta
This was my home so I bought it with year round living in mind.I have spent most of my life abroad or in Los Angeles and I wanted to get that serene desert place to balance my hectic work life.

The pool is just steps away. Floating in it at night when it is warm is like being inside a cool sapphire.The mountains still stand out from the night and the palms and stars always make me feel as if I am on vacation even when I am not!

I lived in my Duna property for about 7 years before building s house in the area.I loved the evenings walking down the fairway to the La Quinta Resort.The bouganvilla and the swallows made the experience so lovely.It is always quiet and the sunrise and sunsets from the patio cannot be surpassed by any other La Quinta location.

The pictures and the text description do not do justice! The rooms were very spacious,the kitchen was well equipped,the bathrooms were very clean, and the views were fantastic! It was very relaxing to sit in the patio and watch the golfers play while the sun was setting down. I am almost reluctant to recommend Gretchens' place fearing of over-booking!
