Cozy mountain chalet on a wooded lot in Lake Harmony Estates in the heart of the Poconos. Our home is close to four ski resorts- (one mile from Big Boulder, Jack Frost, Shawnee, and Camelback), with a 6 person hot tub. Jack Frost / Big Boulder Ski Resorts are the most popular in the Poconos offering night skiing and snow tubing. Our home is also close to a spacious state park (Hickory Run State Park with it’s natural wonders - Boulder Field), and a short walking distance to the Lake Harmony Association Beach Area. In the Summer, it is also a short drive to enjoy the water slides and park at Camel Beach. The Lake Harmony Association tennis courts and park are a short walk through our woods. Knoebels Family Amusement Park is an old fashioned style park with 2 wooden roller coasters and not too far for a day excursion (55 minutes away).
Our non-smoking home features two gorgeous stone fireplaces, ceiling fans in all the bedrooms, a six person hot tub (professionally cleaned between tenants), a seven foot air hockey table, and an electronically scoring dart board. The home has four televisions (three wired for cable, one with game cube) and all the personal amenities and comforts of home. It also has some of our personal favorite VHS/ DVD movies, books, games, plus Nintendo Game Cube and games.
The personal comforts of this home include three bedrooms (including the downstairs den which has a private bath) and an oversized loft to accommodate twelve in beds (including one double futon). Enjoy relaxation on the oversized deck and hot tub. Also enjoy the views of the wildlife (deer, bear and turkeys) from our floor to ceiling windows in the family room. Our kitchen has all the amenities of home so you can enjoy a home cooked meal or dine out at many of the fine area restaurants.
