Historic Beaufort is within 30 minutes of travel time. It is 75 miles south of Charleston, South Carolina and 43 miles north of Savannah, Georgia; making them both great destination for day trips. Beaufort boasts one of the largest collection of antebellum homes on the national registry. It is located on the intercostal waterway with a stunning views of the river on a well manicured park. There are many restaurants and stores offering unique gifts from the lowcountry.
