This professionally-decorated villa is like new and very close to all the Port Royal amenities. Only a three-minute walk to the beach; very near the three championship Port Royal golf courses designed by Pete Dye, George Cobb, and William Byrd; and a three-minute walk for free tennis at the nationally recognized Port Royal Racquet Club. This villa has everything you need for a relaxing, comfortable vacation in the middle of scenic live oaks draped with Spanish moss. The scenery is as good as it gets. And in case you need to use the internet while on vacation, this unit has free broadband cable access!
All Around Best? Why Port Royal? Why this unit?--My wife and I were looking for a villa that met a long list of key criteria before we settled on this unit in Port Royal. No strangers to Hilton Head Island, we knew we wanted a mid-island location in a concrete building with covered parking that, of course, was close to all the key amenities (beach, pool, golf, tennis, biking and dining). For example, we know what it is like to be stuck in traffic or to hear constant foot steps from the unit above you. When we narrowed down our list, there was only one villa that met our criteria: The Village House of Port Royal.
There are only 32 units in this villa complex and it is the closest villa to the beach in Port Royal. Many times rentals advertising a short walk to the beach are in fact at least a half mile away. Our unit is literally no more than two blocks from the beach, playground, bathhouse, and barbeque grills.
Port Royal is a quiet location with a minimal number of condominiums, as compared to the other plantations. In fact, it is home to the only five star hotel in the state, the Westin, which is right across from our villa. Homes in Port Royal cannot even be rented on the short term market. It is a mid-island location with easy access to the entire island.
The Village House has an on-site pool just waiting for a cool dip or a quiet read. There are many miles of scenic bike trails to explore, not to mention the fun in just biking the beach. Upon arrival, you park your car in covered parking only a few steps from the elevator. Prefer it to be easy to unpack? All you need to do is unload your car onto wheeled carts provided on site. Take them to the elevator and wheel them to our unit. It does not get any easier than that to ready yourself for a great vacation. Please, no smoking and no pets.
Our unit is totally refurbished and professionally-decorated. It is nearly new! There is a king bed in the master and two queen-sized beds in the guest room. The bedrooms are on opposite ends with private baths. The large open living area includes a queen sofa sleeper. The kitchen is fully-equipped with everything you need. The great room and the master bedroom each have large private patios. There is also a washer and dryer, plenty of closet space, and three TVs with DVD/VCR capabilities. You will find it difficult to find a unit as nice, new and clean as this one.
We have a lot of pride in our villa and we enjoy treating everyone as if we were renting to family. Our villa has a keyless, numeric lock so there is no need to obtain a key. We even have a property manager available to help you with unforseen circumstances or emergencies. We would love to have you as our guest.

WOW - It Was Everythiing Promised To Be and More!!!!! We were more than satisfied with the accomodations in this beautiful unit. Richard and Cathy were wonderful and easy to work with. The beds were very comfortable which is a plus for us older folks. We did not use the kitchen that often with all the great places to eat. We found the kithchen more than adequate and well stocked with all the utensils one would need. Another plus was the queen beds in the second bedroom. It was just a short walk to the beach where we spent several hours. With the parking under the the building it added that feeling of security. One of the great things about this unit was the serenity we felt with it being so quiet. Thanks again Richard & Cathy for all your help in making our stay one we shall not forget. Location is quiet, secure and great for beach activities with use of small pool across the street. Condo description is accurate with 2 queens in guest bedroom a desirable and hard to find feature. Kitchen is very small and refrigerator thermostat difficult to achieve a suitable setting for both freezer and refrigerator to function properly. The air conditioning thermostat is preset for a lowest possible setting of 70 degrees which we found challenging for SC summer heat with high humidity a factor. The owners were very helpful and responsive with paperwork and email communication prior to our stay.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+.

As a Hilton Head Island regular, it can be a bit overwhelming deciding where to stay. Let me tell you that this condo was an EXCELLENT choice. It looks exactly like the pictures, great location and great price. The condo was VERY clean as well!! Great space for family and/or friends. Would definitely recommend and come back again!!

Richard and Cathy, Your villa truely made our first trip to HH most memorable. It was not only very well equipped, but it was so beautifully decorated, clean and the view from the balconies, so relaxing - never minded that we were not overlooking the ocean. The walk to the beach was effortless - and we were able to rent beach chairs and an umbrella from the life guard for the week which eliminated the need to carry anything but a good book and suntan lotion... We are already talking of a return trip - and hope to rent your 'home' again. We have given it a thumbs up to many of our friends.
