  Our extended family (kids and grandkids) goes to Ocean City every summer. This was the best trip yet. The house was as described and the beach and Ocean views were awesome. The owner's communication was exceptional and the trip was without a single glitch. We will be looking to return to this great house again next summer! Thanks!

  We had a wonderful time during our stay in Ocean City, June 15th thru the 23rd. We came in for a family wedding that took place on June 16th. I can’t say enough about Sallee. She was not only wonderful to work with but very accommodating too. She was extremely responsive to all my emails and questions. Her townhouse is spacious and beautifully decorated. The new kitchen is gorgeous and has any/everything you need to prepare meals. The most enjoyable part for us was the fantastic ocean front view from all 3 floors. Our little ones loved playing in the sand right outside the back door where we could see them from the living room balcony, which was great. The location is awesome and close to shopping, restaurants and fun family activities like miniature golf and Jolly Rogers amusement park. It’s a short ride to the boardwalk and Delaware. Many wonderful memories were made that week with my parents and our three children! If you are looking for a great family vacation you will surely find it in this beach house. It’s a Wonderful place to stay! Sallee Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. Not only did we find a great place for summer vacations, but we found a great friend too.   OMG are you crazy!! This place is perfect. Anyone who does not think that this is the BEST FAMILY VACATION HOME with not only the perfect view and location but also clean with no odor other than the natural ocean smell is nuts. I am a 61 year old grandma/mother and have rented here 3 years in a row each year staying a week longer than the previous year. Just left from a three week stay with absolutely no negative issues as usual. When you step out of the back door you are right on the beach and every year we have used it and never had an issue. We never noticed any rotting wood and the door worked just fine for my family and me. The place was spotless when we arrived and that is the condition we left it in. We had absolutely no issues with dust or musty odors. It is also important to note that the landlord is a very nice person and extremely easy to talk to and work with. Anyone with any concerns, please feel free to contact me and I would be more than happy to tell you of our delightful years at this beach house.

  We had an absolute wonderful time! Sitting on the deck in the morning with a cup of coffee watching the waves come in was such a joy! The house was very charming, definately family friendly. I'm not sure about the above review. When we stayed there the house was very clean and there were no odd smells at all (I have allergies and would have had problems but I didn't) I am looking forward to taking the family back there for a whole week this year, especially with the new kitchen and furniture. I also like the location.. the kids could play on the beach all day and if we wanted to go to the boardwalk it was just a few minutes away.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  I apologize if you had issues using the unit. Keys to the deadbolt are not provided for renters but the unit can be securely locked. The unit is professionally cleaned, including carpet and furniture, at the beginning and end of each season. All issues that occur during the season are dealt with immediately when we are notified by the weekly cleaning company or the renter. Unfortunately the unit was left in such an unsightly manor that 2 additional people were needed to clean the unit in the allotted time, which was an additional cost to all. The maintenance company found no traces or smells in the kitchen in response to this review. Pictures and letters can be provided if needed. We provide a clean, family beach rental and in 12 years of renting we have NEVER once had a complaint!

  The keys operated only the front door's passageway knob, so we could not secure the deadbolt when leaving. The passageway lock on the rear door leading to the beach was inoperable as the door's frame was rotted and could not hold the locks keeper. The carpet and couch were in need of a good cleaning. Overall the house was dusty and had a musty odor. The worst was the odor from the mold under the kitchen cabinet, the odor carried into the living room making it uncomfortable to stay for a given length of time. The screen door leading to the balcony was bent and stuck in its' tracks, making it difficult to open the balcony's glass door so as to air out the mold's odor. The location is excellent, however, until the mold issue is corrected I would strongly recommend not renting this house .
