Location: Hinckley Lake, Adirondack Mountains, New York, USA (25 min. from Old Forge; 20 min. Utica, NY)

Accommodations:  Log House, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 3 Baths (Sleeps 12-15)

Amazing chalet (log cabin) sits up from the water, with 110 feet of beachfront, located on Hinckley Lake with an amazing view. On miles of snowmobile trails. The glass window front allows for a full view of your surroundings. The front lawn slopes directly into the lake with a sand beach area and a boat launching area, too. There are a lot of windows so the house gets a lot of lights.

There is also a second deck right down on the water. The dock extends 30 feet out. House is directly across the lake from a state beach, too. This house is also very private and quiet. We can provide cleaning service as well (available upon request-extra fee). Food not stocked with the house and all toiletries are the renters responsibility.

  • Pictures can barely describe how great this house is. I just celebrated my 40th birthday with a bunch of friends at the house and everyone, especially the kids had a blast. Hinckley Lake is a gem and the house is beautiful. I hope to return again. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a fun lake house for a few families to stay.

  • Myself and a bunch of friends spent New Year's here and had an absolute blast! The jacuzzi on the deck was perfect for the frigid weather. The surrounding area was gorgeous and extremely quiet. There was enough kitchen space for us to cook up a feast, and plenty of breathing space for all 12 of us. I can't wait to get back for another adventure. Thanks Candice!

  • Great house and dock facility. Excellent lake. We have rented on a different lake every summer for 6 years. Our kids enjoy the variety but I think we will make this house our first return rental.

  • After 5 years of traveling to the Adirondacks, this house was the best! This was a renters dream house. We had a great week with a beautiful view and especially enjoyed the hot tub. Were looking forward to next year!

  • My family and I (12 of us) stayed at this amazing waterfront property in the Spring of 2005. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place to all get together. The house was spotless, cozy, and welcoming with a view of the water which was breathtaking. I highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a place to get away...we all left feeling refreshed and VERY pleased with our stay.
