From the moment you drive into this gated complex, you know you are away from the hustle and bustle of the city and surrounded by the beauty of the country life of Hawaii. As you walk through the door of our newly acquired and remodeled Kuilima Estates East condo in the Turtle Bay Resort you will feel the comforts of "your home away from home".
If you have already visited the North Shore of Oahu you are fully aware of its breath taking beauty and tranquil environment. If this is your first visit to the North Shore you will find a spirit of nostalgia, one of stunning beauty and landscape that has not been touched by time. If you’re looking for a change from the fast paced South Shore (Honolulu/Waikiki) then our condo is exactly what you’re looking for.
It is our desire that you enjoy every minute of your stay and we will do our best to make it a wonderful memory. Take a 5 minute stroll from the condo, and you will enter the beautiful grounds of the resort which includes 5 restaurants (indoor and outdoor), a bar where you can sit, sip a tropical drink, listen to live entertainment while you enjoy a sunset that only Turtle Bay has to offer (in fact Turtle Bay is the only spot on the island that you can see both the sunrise and sunset), two beaches one for both sunbathing, snorkeling and scuba dive.
On the other side of the resort is a spot perfect for surfing. Riding stables, tennis courts, walking/running trails, two championship golf courses and a world-class spa with outside massages are also available. A short drive will take you to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, and at times, you will have them all to yourself.
Some of the most famous surfing spots are in the North Shore, such as the Pipeline, Sunset Beach, and Waimea Bay (home of the “Eddie”), continue north and you will find yourself in the town of Hale’iwa, where there are quaint shops and “ono grinds”(delicious eats) including Matsumoto’s famous for Hawaiian shaved ice and the North Shore’s shrimp trucks. And of course Honolulu/Waikiki is a 40-minute drive south from Hale’iwa.
Our bright and cheerful condo is located on the 17th hole of the Fazio Golf Course; the living room opens to a lanai that faces the golf course and its beautiful grounds. We have furnished the condo to meet the needs of old and youthful alike. The main floor contains a living room with a queen size futon and a comfortable fold out queen size “mattress”, kitchen, full bath and master bedroom with a queen size bed. The upstairs loft contains a full bathroom and bedroom with a queen size bed along with a chaise lounge where you can enjoy a book or watch television.
For the smaller set, we included a crib, stroller, and security gate for the stairs. The living room and all bedrooms have television sets with DVD players. There is also a CD player in the loft and in the living room for your enjoyment. A video selection is also available with DVD’s for young and old.
For those days you decide to dine in, our kitchen is equipped with refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker, blender, rice cooker and all items necessary for cooking and dining.
Laundry amenities include a washer/dryer, washing detergent, iron board and iron. Fresh linens are provided along with shampoo and body wash.
Turtle Bay has wonderful trade winds that provide a tranquil breeze throughout the condo, but on the rare occasion they are needed, we have air conditioning in every room. Assigned parking is provided for our guests.
Discovering the North Shore is a wonderful idea. Renting a condo in the Turtle Bay compound gives you many opportunities of the resort without the price. You can choose to enjoy the privacy of a meal on the lanai, or for those times you want to be pampered enjoy one of the Turtle Bay restaurants at the resort itself.
