Francena Cottage sits among the tall, red oak trees near Bear Creek and has a bonfire area with picnic table and charcoal grill. This two bedroom cottage sleeps four adults very comfortably with one queen size bed and one full size bed.
The great room includes a very cozy gas fireplace, making it the perfect place to relax with your favorite book on a chilly night. The kitchen is fully furnished with electric range, microwave, toaster, coffee-maker, and refrigerator. Electric baseboard heat and air conditioning keeps the cottage comfortable.
The full bath has a tub with shower and a full size washer/dryer. All bath and bed linens are provided. Francena's deck with adirondack chairs, french-style patio doors, and a relaxing Solana Hot Tub, makes this cottage a great place to enjoy the outdoors !
Francena Cottage shares 53 mostly wooded acres with two other cottages that may also be rented. The two acre lake is stocked with bass, bluegill, and catfish and adirondack chairs are provided lakeside. There are several marked hiking trails on the property and a bonfire area with firewood and picnic table. We also have two bicycles in the summer for you to enjoy biking on Green Valley Lake Lane. The property is gated for your privacy and a key is provided so you may check yourself in anytime after 3 pm. and check-out is anytime before noon.

Sophronia Cottage - April, 27 - May, 2, 2008 My wife and I, and our two dogs had another good time, this being our 2nd visit. Enjoyed the Smith Run & Dogwood Trails. Saw eleven deer total. It's so relaxing listening to the running water of Bear Creek. We slept a lot...Felt good...............Fleetwood, Pa.

Francena Cottage - May 16-18, 08 This was our first time here, it certainly won't be our last. Next time needs to be longer. We managed to squeeze in some fishing & caught lots of bass, hung by the campfire and made smores. We love the decore, very quaint, warm, and friendly. Till the next time...........Adamstown, Pa.

Lory Cottage - May 23-25, 08 Our first stay - it was just to short ! The cottage is beautiful & the hot tub was awesome !! It was nice to just sit out and watch the sunlight reflecting off the lake. Thanks for a lovely get-away..........Mt. Wolf, Pa.
