A warm Aloha greets you at our family’s spacious 1-bedroom, 2-bath, 1022 sq ft condominium (an end unit) plus a double lanai at The Palms at Wailea. With vaulted ceilings and attractive Hawaiian decor, and situated amid the tropical grounds of The Palms at Wailea in the scenic world-class resort of Wailea, you can be sure of a classic Hawaiian setting for your stay.
The Palms at Wailea resort is located 16 miles from Kahului Airport. Scenic Keawakapu Beach is a pleasant half mile walk, partly along The Palms at Wailea tropical waterfall path. Or, in less than 5 minutes from our door-to-sand, you may drive and park in one of two lots adjacent to, but hidden from, scenic palm-fringed Keawakapu Beach. Shopping for groceries or whatever your needs may be in Kihei Town, or taking in The Shops at Wailea... each is a very short drive, or you may choose to walk to The Shops at Wailea either along the beach or along the golf course.
Imagine awakening to the soothing sounds of tropical songbirds... viewing the bluest of oceans through the palms...with breakfast on the lanai...also a perfect spot to relax after the beach, to read, to contemplate...in sun or in shade...and to enjoy dinner at sunset.....always a spectacular view from our lanai as it sets behind the island of Lana'i. Our second (top) floor, end unit location allows us more privacy and the ability to leave the doors wide open to welcome tropical breezes.
Ours is one of the few condos at The Palms at Wailea that is fully air conditioned...and on our lanai is a Weber gas BBQ, both at no extra charge to you. WHALE SEASON: Maui has earned the distinction as one of the best places in the world to whale watch from December to April when the ocean has been described as "whale soup." Take a commercial boat tour or watch from the shore.
In MAY the International Festival of Outrigger Canoes in Lahaina is a cultural event you won't want to miss.
In JUNE the Maui Film Festival in Wailea: three large outdoor screens, on the beach, between the Wailea Blue and Gold Golf courses, or the Celestial Dome Theater atop the Marriott Wailea Beach Resort.

Maui is world renowned for the large whale population that returns to island waters from Alaska each year and can be seen from the shore or viewed up close on commercial whale watching tours. Excellent tidepools at nearby Keawakapu Beach and Ulua Beaches. Excellent snorkelling at Ulua Beach, where Pacific Whale Foundation docents staff an information station to answer your questions and offer guidance about the sea creatures seen at the reef.

From our door to the sand of lovely Keawakapu Beach it is less than a 10 minute walk; or, a 2 minute drive to several parking lots close to, but not visible from, the beach. To the south lovely Wailea Beach Walk connects with Keawakapu Beach, and takes you to Mökapu, Ulua, Wailea, and Polo Beaches: unrivaled beaches for every activity, including tidepooling and excellent snorkelling or scuba diving.
In addition to our world-class location, our nicely appointed condo offers the comforts of home in an upscale tropical setting. From The Palms salt water pool and jacuzzi are expansive ocean/island/mountain views. Awaken to the sounds of tropical songbirds...the soft rustle of palm fronds...and watch the day come alive as the sun rises over Haleakala. The day is yours to enjoy...and Maui has a broad variety of temptations. At dinnertime from our lanai you can watch the sunset on the island of Lana'i.
