Spent 3 weeks in this spacious, comfortable, very well equipped apartment with lovely decor and furnishings in a pleasant neighbourhood. Found location excellent as we were totally relient on public transport. We visited Grouse Mountain, Deep Cove, Horseshoe Bay and ferries to Bowen Is and the sunshine coast. There is a great market at Lonsdale Quay (a short ride away) and from where the sea bus leaves every 15 mins to Waterfront station with its 2 sky train lines- the Canada line goes to the airport. It was so easy to access central Vancouver with all its attractions-loved the fireworks! Margaret and Ed welcoming, relaxed and helpful-great place to stay!Recommended for: People with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, sightseeing, age 55+.
Owner response: Thank you for the wonderful review. It was a pleasure having you stay and you are welcome to come back any time.

We really enjoyed our week in September at the Quayside Suite. It is perfectly placed for exploring North Shore attractions (we enjoyed the Lynne Valley, Horseshoe Bay and Grouse Mountain (with free displays at the top in summer) and also for the Sea Bus linking North Shore with downtown Vancouver. We easily managed all locations on public transport from Lonsdale Quay. The immaculate apartment is so cosy and yet we were astounded by the size, it was a proper home from home and we were sorry to leave. If we get the chance to visit B.C. again we will definitely be in touch and I won't hesitate to recommend the apartment to any friends who may be visiting Vancouver in the future. Many thanks Margaret for your hospitality. My husband and I spent 2 nights here (14-16 Oct 09) as part of a touring holiday to celebrate my 50th! The accomodation was immaculate with everything you could want including lots of good tourist information. The location was great as it was easy to get to Downtown Vancouver on the Sea Bus which took about 10 minutes and was very cheap especially if you purchased a day ticket that also allows travel on buses and the sky trains. It was also easy to get to the North Vancouver attractions such as Grouse Mountain and Capilano Suspension Bridge. We chose to visit the less well known Lynn Valley and walked across the suspension bridge there. It was beautiful and not as crowded as other attractions and it is free! Stop for a cheap drink at the Canadian Legion in Lynn Valley the people there were very welcoming and happy that tourists visited them. There were great local shops and the neighbourhood was quiet and safe and the locals were very friendly and helpful. We would come here again and recommend it to family and friends. The owner, Margaret was very nice and even drove us to the Sea Bus on our last day because it was raining. We thought the condo represented excellent value for money and it topped off a wonderful trip to Canada for us.Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Quayside Suite. We got a little lost, but were given directions from a local and found the spot easily after that. The property was very clean, well maintained and tastefully decorated. The owner was very helpful when it came to finding our way to the Sea Bus and accessing other transit. I never felt like I was asking too much or to often, I would definitely recommend this property to a friend or family member. We enjoyed the Vancouver Aquarium and Granville Island Market. We stayed here for one month for our honeymoon here in Vancouver, and we couldnt have asked for a better location and amenities at such a reasonable cost. The suite is clean, fully furnished and to top it off the owners are incredibly friendly, hospitable and accomodating. You can walk to Lonsdale Quay, and from there take the Seabus downtown. From there you can explore the city of Vancouver at your leisure. There are buses, trains and tours that will take you wherever you want to go. If you have a car you have your own parking space at the suite, and in just a short drive you can go to Grouse Mountain, Capilano, Stanley Park, and just a little further, Whistler. We have found it great because we have family and friends spanning the whole Greater Vancouver Regional District, and it has been so easy to get everywhere from where we are. We have even managed a coulple of day trips into the USA. We will be coming back to Vancouver every few years, and we will be staying here.Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers.

My husband and I occupied the suite for a week and were delighted with it. We found the unit to be immaculate and extremely well appointed, right down to a few hairpins. The location in No. Vancouver was perfect for us. Finding a free parking place is no easy task in the greater Vancouver area, so having our own spot waiting after a long day of touring was great. The proximity to Hwy 1 (the "Trans Canada") provides easy access to all the sights and attractions of Vancouver and vicinity. There are good to excellent restaurants galore within minutes and every ethnic taste can be satisfied. The owner and her family are warm, friendly people and were very helpful. We would definitely return and recommend this place to friends.
