Aspen Creek Condo is nestled in Carrizo Canyon, less than one mile from Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort and Casino. The property is uniquely bordered by Reservation and National Forest lands. In fact, one can hike the piney ridges of Lincoln National Forest by simply stepping out the front door. These remote lands also serve as a wildlife refuge, where Mule Deer, Elk, Turkey, and Black Bear are frequently seen from the condominium.
Beautiful Carrizo Creek runs just a few feet below its balcony. One can hear the tranquil sound of "babbling" water from the living room sofa. Young and old, alike, enjoy dropping bread crumbs from the balcony to the resident ducks congregating on the creek bank below.
The views are of steep canyon slopes blanketed with timber. Residents can expect mountain breezes to flow through the canyon bringing with them the fragrance of the many Pinion Pines abundant to the property. Aspen Creek Condo derives its name from the two aspen trees that extend from the creek bank and grace its balcony.
Its location is also close to down-town shopping, three championship golf courses, art galleries, horseback riding, fine dining, museums, fishing, skiing, hunting, horse races, swimming, theaters, miniature golf, ATV trails, and an amusement park for the kids.
Even though we have stayed as many as five adults, the condo is perfect for couples and small families. Its decor is a touch of Native American with many amenities not found in hotel accommodations. The facility is very modern and includes new hardwood floors, all new appliances, new counter tops, wood burning fireplace, sofa bed, bunk beds, and a queen bed with quality mattress. Strong efforts are made to assure the unit is clean and comfortable. The grounds are well kept, and the building's exterior has recently been remodeled with adobe. An enjoyable stay can be expected.
One of the most unique features of the condo is its easy access to hiking. Just a few hundred feet from the front door is the beginning of Lincoln National Forest's Saw Mill Canyon Hiking Trail. This trail is clearly marked, well maintained and offers gentle walking conditions as far as mountain trails are concerned. You can literally be in deep pine forest in minutes. The condo also allows easy access to designated ATV trails into the Forest. Wonderful scenery and remote mountain lakes can be obtained via ATV trails. From Saw Mill Canyon Trail I have seen Elk, Bear, Mule Deer, and Turkey. It is really a neat feature of the condo.

Owner Description
We are the Harrisons. I am Rhett. My wife is Tessa, and our two year old son is Rob. We are from Texas. As a child, my parents started bringing me to Ruidoso for small vacations. Over the years it grew on me as a convenient place to ski. Later, I realized Ruidoso was great for all seasons. Infact, our favorite times are Spring and Fall.
We love Ruidoso because of its beauty and variety. There is an abundance of activities in the area. I, personally, am the rugged outdoor type and enjoy just being in the mountains. My wife shares the same interests, and Rob is just old enough to start enjoying the Condo. His thing is tossing pinecones in the creek and chasing them as they float away(Naturally, with our supervision)
We started renting our condo about 4 years ago and have met some wonderful people that we consider friends. We are the easiest people to work with, and we have a flexible "one-on-one" approach with all guests. A considerable amount of our business derives from repeat customers. You will find that we are honest and sincere individuals that lead our lives by Christian principles. We treat people by the same standard as we would like to treated. I do not want to misrepresent the unit in any manner. We feel it is nice, and many of our quests will agree. We strive to make our unit the essential element of a cost effective vacation for our patrons. I have complete confidence in saying," You get a lot for your money with us." The location is excellent.

We purchased our unit, because we feel the location is the best in Ruidoso. It is close to everything. "Especially, close to the Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort and Casino." The property itself is so unique. "A creek 20' below our balcony, wildlife, resident ducks, tall pines, and both the reservation and national forest borders the property.
