If you enjoy quiet luxury and comfort only steps from the beach, this is your perfect rental home. Totally renovated, decorated and ready for your enjoyment on a monthly basis. Our home is located on West Gulf Drive past Rabbit Road so the traffic is at a minimum yet you are only a short bike ride or drive to Bailey's market and other amenities.
The area is surrounded by upscale homes and very few condominiums, so there is much less congestion than more traveled beach areas on Sanibel. Plus, you are closer to Captiva for those day trips to the Mucky Duck for chowder, shopping and all of the great Captiva restaurants.
Fully furnished and beautifully landscaped with new paint (inside and out) and carpet. Sleeps seven with one King, one Queen and two Singles and loft upstairs. Also a pull-out couch for guests. Dual zone a/c, ceiling fans, humidistat, great new HD TV with DVD Player and surround sound Stereo in living room.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
Sanibel is the most relaxing, get back to nature place we know of in the US. The beaches are incredible including the shelling. The house is in a great location, with very upscale homes, lovely beach and it is quiet. Even so, the trip to the grocery store or movies is only 5 minutes. We have been coming to Sanibel since 1975. There is nothing like it.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Direct beach access across the street. Our house is very nice but not overwhelming. It is a true upscale beach house. It has every amenity you will need. We strive to keep it in great shape. The landscape on the property is among the nices on the entire island. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

We were tenants in Dec 08 and the house exceeded all of our expectations. This home is meticulously maintained with marvelous plantings everywhere. The beach is quiet and lovely. We can't wait to return again.

We stood in Oct. 2006 in your House, and we had placed a comment to your Guestbook if we had known that there is one. But here is our comment. We never had a vacation that was so beautifull as in your House. All was realy excellent. For me as German it was remarkable how easy we got the Keys to your House. This is not usual in Germany. Your house is beautiful!! It had more amenities that we could have ever needed! We had such a great time. We have always stayed on Middle Gulf but we liked your neighborhood much better since it wasn't as busy, especially at the beach.
