Swan Shores Lodge offers magnificent water views and is a one of a kind square log home with 200 feet of privacy on pristine Swan Lake. This square log home was architecturally designed to take advantage of the expansive lake and mountain views. The home his multi levels with spectacular lake views from every room. 6 bedrooms 4.5 baths and 6500 sq feet makes this home the perfect gathering place for a family vacation. Bring your boat; our home has not only a boat dock, we have our own boat ramp!
The home sits on one acre of privacy in a park-like setting and is sheltered by cedar trees. Walk through the front door of this impeccably maintained home with open great room floor plan, ideal for entertaining. Our home has been designer decorated with beautiful upscale nautical-style furnishings and designer theme touches and has wood floors throughout. This is true luxury vacation home that is considered to be one of the finest homes in the Flathead Valley.
Main Floor: The master bedroom is located on the main floor and features a king size bed a Jacuzzi tub and walk in shower is in the master bath, a second guest bedroom is located on the main floor with queen size bed and full size bath room with another walk in shower. A large gourmet kitchen features every small appliance imaginable, top of the line Monogram stainless steel double oven, microwave and a six burner gas range, warming drawer and Bosh dishwasher and compactor. The dining area has a large dining table with seating for 12 guests, a nice breakfast bar is wide an open for family entertaining. Also, on the main floor is a half bathroom and large laundry area with large capacity washer and dryer, this area also serves as a mud room.
Second floor: Two guest bedrooms are located on the upper level with a walkway bridge that separates the two bedrooms providing really nice privacy. Both bedrooms are very spacious one bedroom has a queen size bed the other has two twin beds. Both bedrooms have larger dormer window seats, a full bathroom with double vanity sinks and shower over tub.
Lower Level The fifth bedroom is on the lower level of the house and has a unique speed boat trundle bed that opens to make two twin beds. Also on the lower level is a large game room with pool table and a private office set up for those that need keep in touch with work, the lower level also features a fabulous home theater room with ten recliner seats. Since not all guests were interested in this amenity we have lowered our rate by $50.00 per night and have made the theater room an optional amenity.
Guest Quarters: The 6th bedroom is totally private and is located across the breezeway over the garage. The guest quarters set up is ideal for those who prefer a bit of privacy. This bedroom has beautiful views of Swan Lake and features a queen size bed and private bathroom with walk in shower and vanity.

Summary of Rental Fees:
*Rate Information: Our rates are based on the total number of bedrooms required during the entire stay. Each bedroom is considered to be double occupancy. We only rent to one family/party at a time, this is not a shared house rate like a B&B. If not all the bedrooms are ordered we close off the bedrooms that are not going to be used. We have a flexible reservation system so if you are not sure of the number of bedrooms at time of booking you can add sleeping capacity up until 7 days prior to arrival.
* The base 1 bedroom rate is shown on the listing rate schedule. Each additional bedroom is $50.00 per night, plus tax and $25.00 extra per bedroom for cleaning.
*Reservations Deposits: A 20% deposit is required at time of booking, the balance is due 60 days prior to arrival.
Reservation Deposits and Payments: For the protection of our renters the only form of payment we accept is credit card or echeck through our own reservation system. We will never ask a renter to send us any payment by a wire transfer service.
* Application Fee - $35.00 (waived for repeat guests)
* Damage Insurance - $45.00 (required to rent this home).
* Nightly Rate Adjustment - $50.00 each additional bedroom
* Cleaning Fee 1 bedroom - $325.00 each additional bedroom $25.00.
* Sofa Bed (optional) $65.00/nt
* Time Change Option - $20.00/hr Early or Late Check out (not available on back to back bookings)
*Home Theater Room (optional) $50.00/nt or $350.00/week
* Day Guest Visitors - $10.00/ per person maximum of 2 days guest visitors (only available if our maximum occupancy has not been exceeded).
Minimum Stay Requirements:
*7 night Minimum the months of June, July, August and September turn days are on Saturdays.
*7 night minimum the week of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years.

If you are looking for a Montana log home experience deserving of the cover of architectural Digest both interior and exterior head for Swan Shores Lodge. This home is located in the most beautiful spot on Swan Lake with mountain views from every room and nearby Big Fork horse trails whitewater rafting and a choice of family dining or intimate gourmet restaurants. Not enough writing space here to boast about the dedicated efforts of the owners to support their guests with amenities that include a chefs kitchen equipped for professional chefs inside and outdoor dining for more than a dozen cloud like mattresses with beautifully appointed decor and a media room for 10. We celebrated our 50th anniversary with our children and grandchildren and none of us wanted to leave. Is it possible to have a perfect vacation If you select Swan Shores Lodge it is guaranteed. Megan and Jeff sent us the nicest thank you note. They also sent us a photo of the fish they caught which you can see on our Swan Shores Lodge facebook page. Lisa, thank you so much for the sweet email, returning the deposit, setting up the deck and giving us directions around town, but most of all.. Allowing us to stay at your home and making it so cozy! We have captured a photo I thought you might enjoy! Our oldest sin caught a longnosed sucker fish that gave us a good laugh:-) We threw it back needless to say we did get rainbow trout and one pike and all of them right off your deck. We put a rod in every white pole that held the deck in place and just left the fishing poles alone. About the owner: My husband and I manage our own vacation homes and do business under the name of Vacation Holdings. We are a trusted member of the Vacation Rental Industry and a member of the Professional Vacation Rental Association. We have been in business for over 10 years and have the highest integrity. We are not a management company these are all of our own properties. This enables us to describe the home in great detail. I am an interior designer so all of our homes have been designer decorated by the design arm of our company. In addition all of our vacation homes are maintained by a caretaker so that the property is well cared for and our guests are given individual attention. I respond to inquiries within 10 minutes of submission or give us a call as we are super easy to reach. We try hard to exceed our guests expectations!
Why the Owner Chose Swan Lake:
We live full time in the San Juan Islands in the State of Washington and choose Montana because of its close proximity. We started in Whitefish and narrowed our search to the Flathead Valley as we were looking for a lakefront home. We settled on Swan Lake because it was less populated and the views of the Swan Mountains. Swan Shores Lodge was really an ugly duckling the bedrooms were painted shocking pink and baby blue. We were initially not wild about the house because most log homes are stained in a rustic brown whereas this one was stained in a dove gray. It needed some serious updating but the lakefront location and views were just magnificent. Fortunately, we had some vision and could see the potential with some updating and interior design touches. I decided to design around the dove grey stain, so instead of following a traditional rustic we went with a nautical theme and it worked. The end result is we ended up with a totally unique lakefront vacation home that is not like anything else you will find in the State of Montana.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Lakefront, Lakefront, Lakefront...and being on Swan Lake which is a smaller lake that does not have a great deal of boat traffic. Having our own boat ramp is a real plus as well!
