13 Rue de la Providence. Our ground floor, one bedroom, spacious apartment is situated at the apex of Rue Jouan Nicola and Rue de la Providence in the place St. Clair. This is next to the beautiful Chateau Gardens. The flat's location is ideal being on the edge of Vieux Nice, but near enough to enjoy the bustling market of the Cours Saleya and the Place Garibaldi. The food shops, restaurants and bars of the Old Town are minutes away, but far enough away for the flat to be a quiet and peaceful haven.

The beaches, museums, art galleries and theatres are also close at hand. The apartment is light and airy with white marble floors throughout. The double bedroom has a new double bed and is fully fitted with bedside tables and lamps and a dressing table. A large wardrobe takes care of the storage. The American style kitchen with its tiled work-tops is fully equipped to cater for five people and has an electric oven, gas hob and extractor fan, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, and large refrigerator. The dividing breakfast bar allows the chef to chat with friends and family.

The spacious lounge has a sofa bed for additional sleeping, if required, but in the alcove, discreetly positioned at one end, are two full sized bunk beds which will sleep adults as well as children. There is also a dining room table with five chairs, a TV with terrestrial channels plus a DVD player and a stereo/CD player all of which are there for your relaxation. The bathroom has a bath/shower with glass shower screen, large vanity unit with basin and a WC, all fitted out in marble to a high standard.

The Gare Routiere is just a few minutes walk away and this takes you up and down the coast plus up into the surrounding hill villages comfortably and at very low cost. Nice also has a colourful working port, Port Lympia. From here, you can catch ferries to Corsica and Sardinia as well as Monaco, St.Tropez, Cannes and Les Isles de Lerins.

But if it's just a lazy holiday you want, you can sunbathe on the beach opposite the Cours Saleya and then take a leisurely stroll back to our apartment to a chilled bottle of Rose waiting for you in the fridge. For those visitors with young toddlers, we can provide a cot and high chair.
