Our new home is completely furnished and filled with the most modern appliances. There is separate air conditioning in each room and comfortable beds. An outdoor shower is provided for your return from the beach. The kitchen is spacious and has all the equipment for the most creative cooks. Maid service is available upon request.
The charming town of La Ribera is only minutes away. You can charter a panga there for a day of great fishing on the Sea of Cortez. Cabo Pulmo, with world renowned diving and snorkeling, is just 30 minutes south. Just 30 minutes north, you will find Los Barriles with its restaurants, hotels, fishing fleets, windsurfing and shopping. ATV outfitters in Los Barriles will deliver ATV's so you can explore the miles of roads and trails that lead to deserted beaches. A day trip to Santiago, 20 minutes away, provides waterfalls, hot springs, and authentic Mexican pueblo charm. Be sure to check out the zoo.

Your house is beautiful. The layout and interior decorations fit in well with the surrounding landscape and local area. The four of us had a wonderful time there and appreciate the opportunity to have such a peaceful, relaxing place to stay while we enjoyed La Ribera and the East Cape. We met Abel and his wife, and Trino who took us fishing where we caught a lot of yellowtail and a grouper. We did some hikes in the area a day trip to La Paz. We were all sad to leave but would like the opportunity to return. I think that we are partial to La Ribera after visiting some of the other towns along the coast – Los Barriles, Buena Vista, even La Paz. We spent the following week in Cabo San Lucas which, as you know, is very different from La Ribera but still enjoyed our stay there.

Our family, which includes 2 teenagers and a 8 year old boy, all stayed here and had a wonderful time. The house is very close to the beach - every morning we'd get up and go for a walk on the beach, and then eat breakfast on the patio, enjoying the view. With 3 separate patio's (one in front, one over the garage and one on top), or the beach just steps away, you'll always find just the right amount of sun. Inside, the kitchen has everything you'll need to make whatever meals you'd like. We cooked a great deal over the 9 days we were there and found the kitchen very well stocked. The gas oven and stove-top are easy to use. The dining room and living room were great. The kids enjoyed the cable TV and DVD player. All the bedrooms are very large and have great pillows / blankets. Each bedroom has it's own Air Conditioning, which we didn't use because it only got up to 85 in March - which was perfect. The house is fairly remote - while there are several other houses nearby, few had any people in them. You really have the run of the beach. The house has so many beach towels, it's amazing. They also have plenty of chairs and a few umbrellas that you can take to the beach. We didn't get to try out the masks & snorkels as the water was pretty rough the first 6 or 7 days. Highly recommended!
