Our beautiful, three-bedroom, two-bath condominium is located in Northstar-at-Tahoe, a four season destination resort located between North Lake Tahoe and the historic town of Truckee.
Stay at our condo and enjoy: Home Theatre System, flat screen TV's in living room and master bedroom, Netflix streaming movies, Apple universal dock for playing your favorite music, wireless computer access, concierge services (pre-arrival grocery shopping, chef prepared meals) available, welcome basket of treats, boot/glove warmers/dryers, and discount lift tickets. We accept PayPal and major credit cards.
Our condominium includes all of the amenities needed to make your stay a memorable one. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and even includes a bagel slicer! Linens, paper products, soaps, and firewood are stocked in the condominium. We accommodate up to eight guests. You will enjoy incredible mountain views from the deck and living room!
If you need internet access, we have it, with high speed/wireless available in the condo. Netflix streaming of movies is available on the living room (Home theatre surround system) and master bedroom TVs.
Purchase your lift tickets from us at a discounted price and you won't have to wait in a line to purchase your lift tickets! We have direct-to-lift tickets available with no black-out dates. Maximize your ski and boarding time! The boot warmers/dryers will ensure your boots will be ready for another day of skiing.
We provide saucers and sleds and there is a snow play area in front of our condo. You can watch all of the activity from our kitchen window.
Our guests are able to use all of the resort's swim and recreation facilities including the lap pool, saunas, hot tubs, weight and exercise room, lounge, and teen center. The Northstar shuttle bus is available year round to take you to the Village, ski lifts, and other destinations in the resort.
If you have not visited Northstar recently, a completely new Village at Northstar awaits you! You will find a variety of shopping options, including clothing stores, galleries, several food and beverage choices (from take-out to fine dining), a specialty chocolatier, photography and video services, and more! Even Starbucks is now in the Village. There is a pedestrian friendly plaza, fire pit, and a 9000-square-foot ice skating rink! It is a perfect place to gather during the day or after skiing. The movie theatres are now open in the Village.
With all of the activities available on-site at Northstar, many guests never leave the resort during their stay! If you decide to see some of the local sites, the historic town of Truckee is only six miles to the north and Lake Tahoe is six miles to the south. Truckee has many interesting shops and tourist attractions as well as all of the stores (grocery, drug, hardware, and sporting goods) that you might need. Lake Tahoe offers wonderful scenery, water activities, and a wide variety of restaurants. Nevada, with its casinos, is also located on the north shore.

We've rented several places in Tahoe over the years. This Northstar condo has a very convenient shuttle that drops off right at the curbside in front of Northstar! The condo has a well-designed floor plan, the kitchen had every kind of appliance and utensil that we needed, and there are clear helpful labels and instructions located in obvious places. It's a very easy and comfortable place to stay! The nice flat screen TV can be rotated to be viewed from the couch or the dining table. My kids had a blast sledding in front of the condo and I appreciated the walkway being cleared of snow every morning! It's a perfect location; we definitely want to return to this place again!
Recommended for:Families with young children, families with teenagers.

My 13 y.o. son and I spent four nights at this lovely, well maintained unit at Northstar. We were there to use the mountain biking opporunities. The one mile ride to the lifts up the mountain was a pleasurable warm up. Shuttle is right there but unnecessary during bike season. The unit feels well loved and has absolutely every imaginable kitchen device. The only sound at night was the breeze. The place feels absolutely private and secure. Terrific DVD collection. Arriving after an exhausting day of hill riding was a comfort. Great value. No pictures because we were too busy enjoying ourselves to bother.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+.

We had a wonderful stay at your condo. It was clean and fully stocked with necessities and comfort items. It was convenient to the slopes via a short shuttle ride. One thing that we really appreciated was the layout of the condo. Since the bedrooms were separated from the living/dining/kitchen area, it was perfect for putting the little kids to bed early and allowing the adults to stay up later. We would be happy to stay there again on future trips to Northstar.

Winter Wonder Land!!!! This was by far the best place we have stayed yet. The house comes with everything one could need to feel right at home. The views from the home are amazing. Northstar is now our favorite place to board. Thanks so much to the Villarreal's. We will be back next year.

We were thrilled when we arrived at the Condo to see the floorplan with the master on one floor and the two other bedrooms on the bottom floor. That positioned the living room (with fireplace) overlooking the woods and up to the ski slopes. The condo was just blocks from the Northstar Village and just a few steps from where the Northstar bus picks you up to go to the slopes or the Village (which has great restaurants and shopping). The owners had clear instructions on all devices (TV, Cable, Internet, Fireplace, Laundry) and everything worked great. Our only problem was that we did not have enough time to enjoy the Spa at the Village (comes with the condo)and spend a few more days on the slopes. We had four generations of family on this trip and everyone had a great time. We will be back next year!

It has been our pleasure to stay at the Villarreal condo in Northstar for over 25 years. They keep the property in execellent condition and the location is perfect for every activity in Northstar. I would like to keep this place a secret because we love staying there, but I told John and Nancy I would be happy to give our recommendation.

This is the second year in a row staying at this wonderful condo! It's perfect for our family of 4 but can definitely accommodate another family comfortably! We came during the winter so it was a perfect place for sledding, snowboarding, and skiing. We made a sled run right next to the condo but there's a much larger one just a few steps away. So perfect for kids! And the short shuttle ride away to the village and rec center couldn't be easier! Pick up the phone, call, and they're there! So great! We'll be coming back every year and can't wait to stay in the summer. The pool and rec center are just gorgeous! Thank you John & Nancy for your beautiful condo. We are so happy we found it!

We have been enjoying family vacations at this condo for 10 years, returning each September, and when possible, in the spring. It has been our home away from home. Meal preparation at the condo is very enjoyable, given a kitchen that is so well-equipped with every imaginable cooking implement and utensil. Sleeping, bath, and other accommodations are spacious for our family of four. The location is peaceful, beautiful, and is a wonderful place to unwind. Action for the kids, however, is close and accessible. Vacations at the condo always seem too short, we are always anxious to return. The owners, Nancy and John, are very gracious hosts.

We had the best time! This condo has EVERYTHING!!! The rooms are spacious, the kitchen is great, the cozy living room has the best window seat for reading and looking at gorgeous views. The location is perfect. The shuttle took us to the village anytime we wanted to go. We had great walks in the neighborhood. It was one of the best vacations we have had in a long time. We can't wait to have the opportunity to have our next vaction at this wonderful home away from home.
