  This was our third stay at Edgewater but the first time in this unit. The light and airy decor was refreshing and certainly made this unit feel like a vacation resort. Plenty of comfortable seating and comfortable beds with an above average choice of blanket and pillows. The condo was accurately described along with photos to match. The condo was very clean and it looks like it has had some updates since the owners purchased it. While we went out for most of our meals, the kitchen is very well stocked and we had an easy time making the meals that we did have in. The owners were easy to contact and very helpful with any questions regarding Edgewater and the local area. We would highly recommend the unit to friends and relatives and would love to stay there again.

  Overall We had a very good experience renting this condo. The listing and photos accurately describe the unit and the resort. I would definitely stay at this condo again and would not hesitate to recommend it my friends and family. Owners/Process The owners were responsive throughout the process and went out of their way to provide helpful information regarding the Destin area, Edgewater and their specific unit. Additionally, the property management company used by the owners was easy to work with for payments and check-in/check-out. Unit The condo was tastefully decorated with a light beachy theme and was very clean. We found it to be well stocked with items you might not always find at a rental, including an assortment of books, games and movies and extra pillows and blankets. We cooked most of our meals at the condo and were happy to find a kitchen equipped with everything we needed. The view from the balcony (and also the master bedroom and living room) was fantastic. Resort The entire resort was well kept and clean and all of the staff that we dealt with were very friendly. Again, I think the listing and photos accurately describe the resort. Edgewater occupies a nice section of beach that was not at all crowded while we were there. The walk from the condo to the beach, including the elevator ride, was about 3-4 minutes. I got the sense that Edgewater was more geared toward older couples and families although that may have just been a reflection of the time of year that we were visiting (late April/early May).

  Connie is amazing to work with, we just left there after a week in her home, and from the moment you enter, you feel like you're in someone's home, it doesn't feel, or look like a rental. It's very clean, it has everything you would find in a well stocked home: plenty of beautiful glassware, dishes, blender etc. even a tea kettle. The view of the gulf is beautiful and the balcony is very large and welcoming. I ate breakfast every morning at the table on the balcony, and spent hours reading in the lounge chair. This is a balcony the whole family can enjoy at the same time, with chairs for everyone. Having the beach service is really nice and being in a gated community is an extra feeling of safety for those late night walks in the tropical evenings. Wonderful vacation: Connie's binder is full of menus from local restaurants and some of our favorites were The Ocean Club for their early dinner; Kenny D's for their great Grouper sandwiches; AJ's and Cheeseburgers in Paradise, oh and Busters! You can walk to Busters from the condo! We had no rain, but there's books and board games, cards, and TV's in every room should you have a rainy day. We hope to return, thank you, Connie!

  This was our second time in this condo. We came last May also. This is the perfect condo in such a great location. The condo is beautiful and everything we could have possibly needed was there and ready for us. We would recommend this spot to anyone! We really like being in Miramar Beach instead of right in Destin. All of the shopping and restaurants are close enough but it just doesn't seem as busy and congested. Connie is so easy to work with and communicates regularly and responds quickly to any questions. Staying in 601 was great both times we went to Florida and we hope to go back many more times in the future. Thank you!

  The condo was immaculate, beautifully decorated, superbly supplied. I've stayed in many places during my visits to Destin...this surpasses all of them. The owners are thoughtful of their visitors' needs and have thought of everything you might need during your visit. I cannot recommend the property enough. The pools, the hot tub, the tiki bar and of course the beautiful beach are all so well maintained. Thanks for sharing this little piece of paradise!

  We were down during hurricane Issac. Our stay was cut short due to manditory evac. However Connie was more than helpful. She worked out details to where we are coming back in Oct. We can't wait. The condo is so nice & fits our every need. The area is so close to everything. The view form the balcony is very nice. We spent our morn. out there just relaxing & watching the beach area. This condo is perfect for small families & couples.

  Wonderful first stay in Unit 601! We were concerned before arriving that it might be too far away from beach to have great view (accustomed to properties closer to water's edge), but this was actually tremendous in that regard, especially with the angle of the building. Loved closeness to the main elevators as well! Buster's Oyster Bar and Grill long has been one of our favorites, and being able to walk across the street to get there this time was a definite bonus! Will be looking to return to 601 in the future, for it has everything needed for a great week.

The curvature of the building allows us a very DIRECT view of the GULF overlooking the pool area (as is illustrated by the photo on our website of the view from our balcony). We love the beautiful scenery and many of our guests, like you, have commented on our tremendous view. The walk to the beach is short and convenient as well.   Our family just returned from a week stay at #601. We had a rocky start with the Tropical Storm Debby, but after two days it really cleared up. The condo is just like the photos, but even nicer! Its very updated, and comfortable. They thought of everything you would need for your stay. The view on the patio is priceless! We saw dolphins many times in the mornings. The pools, toddler pool and hot tub was used alot. Our 3 yr old daughter had a blast meeting many children to play with. The beach is beautiful and it was always easy to get chairs. The location is so great, very close to the grocery store, Dollar General and good places to eat. The Zoo is a fun place to take your little ones which is about 40 mins from the condo. and you can even feed the animals. McGuries Irish Pub has great food, and a fun time. If you looking for a nice sunset dolphin cruise try Olin Marler's by the boardwalk we saw many dolphins and even got 1/2 price tickets on Groupon. If your looking for a clean, updated, beautiful condo for your family dont look anymore this is the place! Connie the owner was wonderful to work with! She was so responsive to our needs, questions. We plan on telling all our friends and family. We would for sure stay here again!!

  What a beautiful condo! Relaxing atmosphere, lots of room, everything we needed was available. Magnificent view from the balcony! We saw dolphins jumping in the surf right off the beach! The umbrella and chairs on the beach made it great too! Very close to grocery store and shopping. Local seafood great!

  Our family just returned form our beach get-away. What an AMAZING place, speaking of both the area and accomodations! We were so pleased with the condo ~ so clean and comfortable! Many "thank-you's" to Bob & Connie for your expert hospitality! We enjoyed our ocean-view balcony each morning for breakfast, as well as family time in the evening to discuss the activities of the next day! Our hope is to make the wishes of our children, ages 7 & 12, come true by making a repeat visit a reality for them! **5 stars**
