What a beautiful condo! Relaxing atmosphere, lots of room, everything we needed was available. Magnificent view from the balcony! We saw dolphins jumping in the surf right off the beach! The umbrella and chairs on the beach made it great too! Very close to grocery store and shopping. Local seafood great!

Our family just returned form our beach get-away. What an AMAZING place, speaking of both the area and accomodations! We were so pleased with the condo ~ so clean and comfortable! Many "thank-you's" to Bob & Connie for your expert hospitality! We enjoyed our ocean-view balcony each morning for breakfast, as well as family time in the evening to discuss the activities of the next day! Our hope is to make the wishes of our children, ages 7 & 12, come true by making a repeat visit a reality for them! **5 stars**

Condo was very nice and the view from the balcony was awesome. The beach chairs and umbrella provided by the service were very convenient. Would love to come back in the coming years either in May or late September/early October.

I can not say enough about our vacation and the condo! The customer service and kindness of the owners alone is worth staying in their unit.. they went above and beyond to make sure our vacation was great. The condo was gorgeous and felt like a second home. There were no details left out..from the nice dishes, to wine and bottle openers, to the electric skillet.. the extra beach chairs, etc.. The grounds of were gorgeous.. the pools fantastic and the beach was absolutely beautiful. Plus.. the location was so convenient to restaurants and shopping. I also have to add that the large patio with such nice furniture made my mornings heavenly. I got up every morning and sat on the patio and read my Bible while watching the dolphins. It was awesome and so relaxing. We will definately be returning to this condo and property for another great family vacation.

Although this review comes a couple months after our stay, our family still talks about the wonderful time we had in Destin this year. The condo is perfect and has everything one could possibly need! We've stayed in many rental condos throughout FL over the years and this was, by far, our favorite. The unit was spotless when we arrived and Connie has done a wonderful job putting her personal touches on the unit. My 6 year old daughter and 8 year old son had a blast. We went to the beach everyday, talked each of them into taking naps in the afternoon (ha), went out for dinner in the evenings, and finished things off by hunting for crabs in the evening. Some of the the restaurants we enjoyed dining at were McGuire's (great steak), the original Dewey Destin's (great grilled shrimp, per Connie's recommendation), and Rum Runners at Baytowne Wharf. Our last evening consisted of eating on the patio with takeout pizza from Jordano's. That was my favorite dinner of all! We really enjoyed going to Baytowne Wharf as well as SeaSide. We also took the kids miniature golfing twice. God willing, we hope to be back next year to enjoy another great family vacation!!!

For those looking for a sanctuary away from it all.......look no further! The beach and water are beautiful but pale in comparison to the home away from home that Connie and her family provide. We are repeat visitors and will be returning again next year. She literally has thought of everything that you could possibly need right down to a coozie to use for your canned drinks! Old Bay Steamer and AJ's has been our best seafood ever and Jordano's Pizza is fantastic! Perfect for relaxing and vegging out and watching a movie after a beautiful day in the sand and sun! Also, you can walk to the grocery store, the dollar store, and and ice cream shop because they're ACROSS THE STREET! Talk about location!!!! Staying in this condo is the easiest decision for the entire vacation. There's just no question for us where we will stay!

Great place, very relaxing

This by far has been my best time in Florida. Compared to Sanibel, Sarasota etc. Great beaches, clean water, everything you would need in a condo the Albrights have supplied. I now understand all the great reviews, well worth the vacation. Great variety of places to eat, Harry T's, Deweys, Bonefish, Stinkys, Another Broken Egg Cafe, Mcguires Pub. Plenty of shopping, trafffic was good and loved the gated area. The fitness center was A+.

Thank you so much for keeping such a well stocked condo. We knew we we were in for a treat, because of all the personal attention that we received from Connie, the owner of the condo. We have come to Destin for over 8 years, and this was our first stay in an upgraded condo with new upgraded appliances and utensils. The details were awesome. LIghtbulbs in the closet, picnic basket, beach chairs, and shrimp pot were just some of the treats that we used. The best night of our vacation was our last night when we just sat on balcony. It was a nice surprise when at 9pm when enjoyed the fireworks from Sandestin right from our condo. This was great because our toddler son loves to watch, but not so much the boom. We had a spectacular view that most may even not realize to take advantage of! Enjoy!

This was a great condo. Has a great view, everything you could think of in the kitchen from an ice bucket to corn holders!! We just got back after spending a wonderful week there from May 8-15. The balcony is super big with a fantastic view of the ocean and close enough to hear it as well. This condo will always be special to me as it was the place that my partner and I got committed to each other on the patio. Thanks for having such a special and well-decorated place to remember and hopefully come back to and also for the phone call the next day to make sure everything was ok.

Great Condo

We just got back from a week is Destin. best vacation ever! The Condo was perfect! Great view, had everything we needed and more in the kitchen etc. The extras were great. the word document we got prior to arrival from the owners was very helpful-- as was the huge binder in the condo. We went with 4 other families, and we definately had the nicest condo! Having the two beach chairs was a nice bonus. We went at a very busy time, but it was never too crowded. We always had chairs at the pool and was able to use the grills at any time. I was amazed at how quite it was in the evening. It was never loud late at night, we were able to keep the patio doors open all night. The Patio had a nice table, chairs and a cart. We had all my daughters friends over for dinner and they loved it! It was great sitting out there every evening. I highly recommend Edgewater but especially this Condo-- you will not be disappointed! We can't wait to go back!

This condo was the perfect vacation for my husband and myself along with another couple. It was our first trip to Destin, and it was perfectly located. The view was gorgeous and Connie the owner left many ideas for us in a binder along with an email with helpful ideas. Beautifully decorated and clean, it was hard to leave. It was easy to park our car and the beach area was not crowded. The building is well built as the walls were soundproof and we really couldn't hear any other condos. I'd definitely stay here again.

My family & I just returned from a wonderful Thanksgiving week spent here in Destin. I could not have been more pleased with our stay. We have been going to Destin for many years and it is always our favorite place to relax & unwind. Besides the beauty & tranquility of the beach, there are so many wonderful places to eat and the shopping was incredible! Connie was the most gracious hostess I have never met! I can simply ditto all the previous comments because they all proved to be accurate, even the personal phone call from Connie the morning after we arrived to make sure everything was up to par and to answer any questions we may have. This was our first time at Edgewater Beach and we will definitely be returning, specifically to Unit #601!

We had a wonderful time! We plan on coming back next year. We went on a dolphin cruise and were able to see a beautiful sunset. We ate at 3 of your recommendations. They were all wonderful. The weather was beautiful for us. My mom really enjoyed the balcony. She drank her coffee out there in the morning and her glass of wine before bed. My mother and I stayed here over Christmas and had a marvelous time. The unit is gorgeous and very comfortable and the owners encouraged us to decorate for the holidays. They checked to make sure we arrived safely and answered any questions we had about things to do in the area. They even laughed with us when we commented about almost not fitting in the parking deck (we drive an SUV). The location was ideal for shopping and eating out but we also had everything we needed to cook in. We spent the week relaxing and returned to Atlanta fully refreshed. I would definitely recommend staying here! Some things to note: if you do drive a tall vehicle you can easily park in the lower deck without feeling like you're going to get stuck and if you're looking for luggage carts they are parked on the lowest floor (we had to hunt them down). Make your reservation NOW... you'll be very pleased!

We just returned from a 3 night stay in this gorgeous condo. It has beautiful, classy decor and was immaculately clean. The balcony has a great view of the complex grounds, pools, and the ocean. It takes approximately 5 minutes (including elevator time) to get to the beach. The fitness center was well-equipped and the pools sparkling. Having a place to stay in like this created a peaceful and tranquil oasis for us, which we really really needed. Owner called to ensure all was great - very nice! We hope to return, and would happily stay in this unit and at Edgewater again.

We were so blessed by our stay here! Thank you for creating such an inviting place to stay. This was our first trip to Destin and we loved it. The beach, in my opinion, is the prettiest in the states that I have seen, and I have seen dozens. The condo was equipped very well and we loved the patio.
