Come stay at Barry Beach and enjoy some island time.
This cottage was built in 1965 and still looks original on the outside, but has been updated inside for your comfort. The ground level house is painted in bright tropical colors to give you that that old island feel. This spacious 2000 square foot house has plenty of room to spread out. On one side are 2 large king size master bedroom suites, each with a connecting bathroom. On the other side of the house are two other bedrooms (one with a queen bed and one with two twins), and these two bedrooms share a bathroom. All this overlooks the fenced in pool area and Pine Channel. Out front is 200 foot dock for mooring your boat, with dockage for 2 boats and with 4' minimum depth at low tide. There is water and a hose at the end of the dock for washing your boat and cleaning fish at the end of the day.
From Barry Beach, it takes only minutes in your boat to get out front to Looe Key and American Shoals, and has easy access out back to the Gulf and the Content Keys. Whether you are diving, fishing, kayaking, or just going boating, you'll find it easy and quick to get to your destination.
So just relax on the pool deck and watch the sunrise or moonrise over Pine Channel. You can grill your catch of the day and dine outside at the tables in front of the pool and enjoy the fantastic view. This house is truly set up for waterfront living at its best.
We are a legal weekly rental and are licensed with Monroe Courty to rent daily, weekly and monthly.

Barry Beach - Beautiful 4/3 Keys Cottage on Open Water W/Pool
Year Purchased: 2002
Why the Owner Chose Little Torch Key
We fell in love with the property and liked the idea that the house was an older, ground level building. It reflected what the Keys may have been like 40 years ago before all the development. Not to mention the vacant lots on both sides that allow for the property feel so private, even though it is close to so many amenities.
Owner's Map of Little Torch Key
My husband and I both grew up in Northwestern Wisconsin. We owned and operated a fishing camp in Red Lake, Ontario, Canada for 24 years, during which time we made the Keys our winter home. We sold our business in 2003 and now reside here full time.

We have rented this house several times when we bring family from Europe and friends from Ohio. I love it because I grew up on the neighboring island of Big pine Key in the '60's and '70's. This house reminds me of that time in the Keys, when life was sooooooo laid back. It has such a fun decor. This pristine home looks new and clean and bright and cheery, but definately has that funky old time Keysy feel. Great restauration job. One of the best rentals we have ever seen in the Keys! Sunday Brunch on Little Palm Island is a MUST!! Captain John Sahagian of FUNYET Charters is one of the best guides in the Keys and is right next door. We have fished with him for 27 years.
Owner response:Thanks so much for the nice review. We are glad to hear that you enjoy the "Keys cottage" feeling of the house.

We stayed here two years in a row during the Christmas season. The pool is great and very warm even when the weather wasn't too warm. The house is beautifully decorated and very clean. Any problems encountered were swiftly fixed by owners who live nearby. This rental is great for two families since they have two kitchens and two family rooms. We liked the water view and the ability to use the kayaks when the days were calm. We will rent again!!!!

Barry Beach is by far the best get away my wife and I have ever had. Everything that we could ever had wanted or needed was there. The owners/property management has thought of it all. The description and pictures do not do the place justice. I have recommended the property to family and plan to return for another getaway. Nearby, you can snorkel at Bahia Honda or at Veteran's Beach. The location is ideal, just far enough from Key West to be quiet, yet close enough to make the most of your time there. Grab a slice of Key Lime Pie from Blond Giraffe, sit on the pier, and watch as the tarpon swim right under your feet.

We have rented this beautiful vacation home multiple times in the past 4 years. The house is immaculate and can accomadate families very comfortably. The kitchen is fully equipped and great for entertaining. The pool is a fun for kids, and being on 1 level makes it easy for elderly persons to get around. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation in the Florida Keys, I can't say enough about this house. We can't wait to return next year.
