1045 WATERBURY LANE, VENTURA, CALIFORNIA BEACH FRONT HOUSE - ON THE SAND!!! Waterbury Lane has one of the widest stretches of beaches in all of Pierpont.....great for the kiddies to run and play on. This house is located in the wonderful Pierpont beach community in the City of Ventura (60 miles north of Los Angeles/45 miles south of Santa Barbara).

A year round weekly rental (or monthly outside of summer), our beach house easily sleeps 10 and is a perfect getaway for families, or a group of friends and it would also make a great business retreat. As a beach front home being situated right on a prime large beach, you'll enjoy the comfort and amazing views of the ocean and offshore Channel Islands which provide a background for spectacular sunsets. Relax on the deck or back patio (with gas fire pit), or curl on the couch along side our gas fireplace. With all the creature comforts of an exclusive resort, you may never want to leave our getaway on the beach.

Two full stories above the ground level garage, this home has three bedrooms and three baths, a family room, living room with attached casual and formal dining room, reading/recreational nook, full kitchen in approximately 2400 square feet of living in a very open floor plan with lots of windows to show off the ocean/island view.

Complete interior remodel done in February 2006. Essentially everything has been ripped out and redone and/or completely renovated and upgraded. Renovation included: new carpet, paint, electrical, plumbing, bathrooms/showers, toilets, appliances, window treatments, railings and new furnishings throughout the home. Complete exterior remodel completed in 2004 (new cedar decks/siding, DBL insulated windows, etc.).

SLEEPING ACCOMMODATIONS
Bedroom One - Master bedroom with king bed. New bathroom and vanity area redone in beautiful tumbled stone. Nice size deluxe shower with a double vanity sink and very large walk in closet. Private balcony only accessed from master bedroom with panoramic ocean/island views. Master has Direct TV satellite cable with a DVD/VCR playerand a 32 inch LCD TV. Nice nook area just outside master bedroom makes for a great reading, game or recreation area.

Bedroom Two - This room features four beds in the form of a bunk bed (two twins) and a separate double bed. Walk in closet and attached bathroom (just redone) with shower and tub. Direct TV Satellite cable with a DVD/VCR player.

Bedroom Three - This room features one queen bed and a walk in closet. Ample room for rollaway bed or for a crib (if you bring them). Attached bathroom shared with bedroom two. Direct TV Satellite cable with a DVD/VCR player.

Large open living room on main floor has couch with a pull out queen bed. Living room also has a fire place and a new 46 inch High-definition LCD TV with Direct TV satellite cable (with TIVO). High quality/compact surround sound stereo is connected to the TV. Enjoy movies in style or listen to the radio/CD. Bring your IPOD and link it up to the stereo system (cable provided) and you will be all set. Note: A second similar stereo system is located in the adjacent family room.

  • We had a marvellous week in the Beach House in October 2009. The house is light, spacious and very well equipped - the photographs of the interiors on the website do not do it justice. We loved its position right on the beach and particularly enjoyed watching all the birds and the dolphins during the day and listening to the waves at night. Mike and Erica were perfect hosts and looked after us extremely well. We are already planning our return trip to stay in this very special house.

  • We were here for the month of May. Everything you needed was at the house from spices to detergents to kayaks. Although it was "gray May" most of our days were cool,clear and sunny. The house is open and airy and very comfortable. Very functional kitchen and dining areas and plenty of places to watch TV. Location is great with easy access to Hwy 101 and main section of town where the restaurants. Also a short ride to the Ventura harbor with it's shops and the Ventura pier. Saw Erica when we arrived and never saw them after that. Highly recommend this house for visiting Ventura. The views and the beach are beautiful. Neighborhood very quiet and plenty of parking Al

  • We had the time of our lives at the Biedebach beach house! Surf fishing, long walks on the beach, and nights around the fire pit were just some of the amazing memories created that week. The house had absolutely everything we wanted and needed, and was absolutely beautiful and sparkling clean. We were very sad to leave, and miss the beautiful sound of the waves each day! We would highly recommend this beach house to anyone!

  • We miss the beach!!! We were lucky enough to find this beach house on VRBO and it remains the best vacation we have ever had. As a small family, we couldn't have wanted more out of a house, neighborhood or from the renters. Most importantly, we were able to keep our toddler entertained daily, normally not an easy task! We are grateful for all that Mike and Erica provided, it was truly above and beyond. We'd rent from you guys again in a heartbeat. Also, like everyone else... We still can't believe about the dolphins! We saw them at least once a week and they weren't more than 10 meters from the shoreline. Thanks again. These are memories which we will cherish for a lifetime.

  • We just can't say enough about out stay at the Waterbury beach house. We had all we needed and more. The weather and the sunsets were incredible. Walking on the beach and enjoying the deck, we saw dolphin, a seal, a lot of pelicans, etc. Bordered on one side by the Ventura pier and on the other by the harbor jetty, we felt nestled in to paradise.

  • Our stay at the Waterbury Beach house was simply perfect. The house is beatiful and open to the beach and ocean views. The deck and open fire pit areas were perfect for outdoor socializing. The HD TVs, state-of-the art sound system and Tivo were very nice touches, too. I can't think of anything or amenity I wish I had during our stay that wasn't already available at the house. Thanks so much for a perfect stay at the beach. See you next year.

  • We have stayed in many places up and down California's coast but this tops the list. Cocktail time on the deck, wrap around vistas of the ocean, everything new and clean. Wow! Our family and friends came up and they were equally impressed and we are looking forward to next summer's jaunt. Our only regret is that it was not longer. Very restful place and the accomodations were perfect! A 10!

  • WOW, WHAT A MAGICAL PLACE! Has it really been three weeks already? Mike and Erica, you have made your wonderful house into a fantastic, warm, inviting Beach Home. We had 21 spectacular sunrises; 21 fun days of playing in the surf with the kids; 21 adventures discovering the quaint local area's shopping and dining destinations; 21 evenings making Smores in the backyard fire pit; 21 magical sunsets; 21 wonderful night's sleep with the soft sound of waves breaking on the beach in the background... all to wake-up and start once again. We don't want to go home! Thank you both for being so attentive to our wants and needs. We have rented beach houses in the past, but never have we had an experience like we had during Summer '06 at your place... we can't wait to return next summer! (Or maybe even before then for a weekend escape or two!) Thank You, Thank You, THANK YOU!!!

  • June 15-22, 2006 We had a great vacation in this beautiful house. It is definitely the best beach rental I've ever been in. Our three young kids had a wonderful time playing in the beach right behind the house. Everything is really nicely decorated, renovated. The owners are very family-friendly and lent us lots of their own baby stuff. We felt really lucky to have found this place.
