BEACHFRONT BOHIO........
Our beautiful brand new beachfront terra cotta roofed bohio covers the newly paved brick patio. The bohio serves as the center of your beachfront outdoor living space that makes Villa Leone one of the nicest beachfront villas on the best beach in Cabarete. The bohio is furnished with an outdoor wicker seating arrangement and a bar which also serves as a swim up pool bar. One very large and one medium size colorful wood parrot accompanies you at meal or cocktail times as they swing in the often strong ocean breezes.
BEACHFRONT GAZEBO........
A few steps up from the bohio brings you into a charming hexagonal concrete gazebo with brick pavers. The gazebo serves as a perfect place for morning coffee, bloody marys or afternoon cocktail hour. The view of the beach and mountains from the gazebo is intoxicating. A colorful wood parrot keeps you company as he swings from the ceiling.
OCEANFRONT INFINITY POOL.......
If you need to cool off from the beautiful sunny, warm weather, our brand new 5' deep infinity pool is the perfect solution. The pool adjoins the bohio and has 4 concrete bar stools in the water along the adjoining bohio bar, allowing your friends in the pool to join you for a drink as you sit on a dry stool under the bohio, in the shade.
AIR CONDITIONING.........
A brand new airconditioning system was recently installed allowing independent temperature control in each bedroom and downstairs. This is not usually needed in the winter months, but is a welcome retreat from the heat in the summer months.
ENTERTAINMENT AT HOME........
If all of the above options leave you still looking for more ways to pass your time reaxing at the beach, there is an entertainment center in the livingroom offering 50" HDTV cable TV, bluray dvd player, vcr, cd player wifi wireless dsl internet. A large selection of dvd's including bluray and a small library of cd music is provided for your watching and listening pleasure. Villa Leone also has recently added a high end Ipod docking unit for your listening pleasure. Just bring your ipod and you have an instant party.
SLEEPING.........
Villa Leone has 5 bedrooms; 4 with ensuite bathrooms. All 5 bedrooms have independently controlled air conditioning and have ceiling fans. Three of the rooms have cathedral ceilings and small balconies with beautiful ocean views. These three bedrooms have king size beds. The 4rd bedroom has two full size beds. The 5th bedroom two twin beds.
SECURITY.......
Villa Leone is protected day and night by full time security guards.
TRANSPORTATION...........
The decision to rent a car is, of course, yours. It is recommended but not absolutely necessary. If you are comfortable walking for 40 minutes down the beach, you will be in the middle of the town of Cabarete. Rides to or from the villa can be obtained by walking out to the road, raising your hand, and catching a ride on a local motoconcho, or motorcycle. They will quickly transport you from town to the villa for 20-30 pesos (less than $1). Of couse, taxis are always available if you do not like the idea of riding second seat on a motorbike (I do all the time). We have drivers available to drive you and translate for shopping or looking into a possible real estate acquisition.
SAFE........
Villa Leone is equipped with a laptop size safe that will protect your valuables.
If you loose the key, we need to destroy the safe to open it, so, please be careful with the key.

- Video Games : We have a Microsoft x-box 360 system with Rock Band and a couple other games Make sure to bring your favorite games to relax on the spacious sofa enjoying gaming at the beach.

- Private Pool : The pool is a beautiful infinity edge pool located right on the beach! Villa Leone now has an eco friendly salt water system that creates a natural pool disinfectant without having to add any harmful chlorine. The very low salt content is similar to the salinity of the human tear drop and makes your skin feel so soft and not irritated as in normal chlorine pools. The system is state of the art and is just another amenity to enjoy at Villa Leone.

- Full Kitchen : The Villa Leone kitchen hs granite counter tops and mahogony cabinets and offers all that you, or your private chef, needs to whip up that perfect gormet meal or snack. Notable items inthe Villa Leone Kitchen include a Belgian waffle maker, super automatic espresso machine, 3 pitcher Margharitaville Drink Maker, refrigerator and sink with piped in purified water. Pass through window to pass food and drinks from the kitchen to the beachfront dining table.

- Free Long Distance : You can make free long distance calls using our WIFI connection, your computer and SKYPE.
- Cell Phone : A pay by the minute cellular phone is provided for your convenience. The staff will show you how and where to obtain phone cards and add minutes to the phone. This is by far the least expensive way, other than Skype, to communicate.
- Broadband Internet : Villa Leone has cable internet that, while not as high speed as we are used to, gets the job done.
- WiFi (Wireless Internet) : Free WIFI is available for your use while at Villa Leone. The code is on the bottom of the router next to the TV in the livingroom.

Two twin air matresses are also available, if required. Our large sectional sofa in the livingroom is not a convertible bed but can comfortably sleep an additional two guests. The new 50" HDTV combined with the state of a art bluray dvd player watched from the spacious 14' sctional sofa will give you and your friends and family hours of relaxed entertainment by the sea.

Frank, We had a great time, and were well taken care of by everyone. The place was beautiful, we couldn't have asked for anything better. You weren't kidding about the ocean current. I went out for a swim one evening, and I'm a pretty decent swimmer, but it was an effort to get back in. Thanks again for all your assistance throughout the process as well, it is much appreciated. If/when I come back, I'm definitely staying at the Villa Leone again. --ari

VIlla Leone was amazing. We stayed for 6 days and had a wonderful experience. It was our first time visiting the domician and we were thrilled with our decision. Frank provided us with great information and reserving the property was extremely simple. All of our questions were answered and we were provided a great resource packet for 1st time visitors. Upon arriving, Jose, the property manager, welcomed us at the airport and helped us get groceries for the week. When we arrived at the house we were given a tour and instructions on how everything worked. All week we had complete privacy and felt safe. The maid is extremely polite and does over the top work. The area outback with the pool, grill, hot tub, hammock are amazing because the weather is beautiful. The beach is very private and exciting! The waves are very fun but kind of rough when it gets windy. Anytime we needed anything; Jose was there to help and answer our questions. Local tour groups will come visit and give you options for things to do; we chose horseback riding and ATV riding. Both were very affordable and fun! Everyone on the island is very friendly. I highly recommend hiring the services of the private chef. The food was outright amazing and he was very fun to talk to. The overnight security guards are also a nice touch. Frank keeps the property in amazing condition and has full time staff working on everything to keep it clean and relaxing. He also was very kind to check In with us during the week and after our stay. I highly recommend Villa Leone to anyone who is looking to get away and relax on a beautiful island with great ammenities. The privacy, staff, and wonderful home make it a great destination spot!

The property is magnificent. Beautiful sunrises, warm surf, soft sandy beach…not much more you can ask for. The pool and swim up bar are great, just make sure you bring a good bartender with you. Don’t worry about security, they have you well covered. Favorite spot was the tree house…great place to watch everything that goes on from the kite surfers to couples strolling by. It’s also not a bad place to enjoy an afternoon glass of wine either.

Villa Leone is a beautiful home that made our trip to the Dominican Republic truly one to remember. The welcome packet sent by the owner upon booking the home is comprehensive and clear. The villa staff was exceptional in all areas. The guards were polite and helpful, the home was kept clean and free of sand (which was no simple task) for our entire stay. The professional chef suggested by the ownerwas also spectacular. I would recommend this property to all without hesitation.

What an amazing place!!! We had a blast. People were wonderful, accommodations far exceeded our expectations, and there was plenty fun things to do around the villa. We had 6 kids under 6 with us and the place was just perfect for a large family or two. Make sure to get the chef! He makes some amazing Dominican food. We just returned from a wonderful 2 weeks at Villa Leone. Our entire experience, from our first contact with the villa owner, Frank, was very positive. Frank and his team of staff are extremely professional and courteous and are committed to providing their guests with a relaxing, luxury vacation. The villa is very clean and the listing description is very accurate. The pool, hottub and beach are lovely. The kitchen was well-stocked and we enjoyed the cappuchino and slushy drink makers. The complimentary ride from the airport with Danny, a local taxi driver/tour guide was great. He was there waiting for us when we emerged from the airport with a typically huge, warm Dominican smile, and he became our indispensible guide for the rest of the two weeks. Danny is an incredible ambassador for his country. He was able to provide excellent recommendations for anything from excursions, to restaurants and nightlife. I highly recommend using his taxi/tour guide services. He is great fun to hang out with and is incredibly honest and fair. You will feel safe at all times with him and will appreciate his vast knowledge of all things local. The villa staff are all very warm and welcoming and are at your beck and call, with a pleasant smile, to provide you with whatever you may need while there. Jose, the property manager, will arrange for a masseuse to come to the villa for massages/pedicures. Her prices are so good - $30.00 for a one-hour massage and $25.00 for a 1&1/2 hour pedicure! Try the Spanish restaurant next door, Embocca. The food is excellent (a little pricier than many other places) and the atmosphere is nice. Our favorite restaurant was definitely Martini's, which is a ten minute walk up the beach. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week and their selection and prices are amazing. We had excellent meals every time. You can even leave your shoes at home and wear your bathing suit! Make sure to try happy hour between 4-6 pm for unbelievable cheap appies and drinks! Jose O'Shays Irish Pub is OK for typical pub food, but I enjoyed our meals elsewhere more. A must try for an authentic local meal is La Boca Grill, which is a small open-air restaurant a few minutes drive from the villa. Every type of outdoor adventure is available right on your doorstep. Don't miss 27 Waterfalls - it's a blast! You'll be planning your next trip back to Villa Leone before you even leave!
