Why the Owner Chose Littleton
This house just seemed to have everything we needed. Not only does it sleep so many, but what this house had that nothing we saw ever did was a layout that accommodated large diverse groups. Kids have virtually their own living space for Pool, XBox, Ping Pong, even their own kitchen area. While the adults have space for easy living with the ability to survey all that's going on.
The location, simply put, is the best on the lake. It is close to everything, including dining, marinas, services, etc.
The Unique Benefits of this House
This house allows for incredible sunrises and sunsets from the wrap around deck or from the expansive dock. We make available a slip right next to the high dive! Great fishing including Gar, Bass, Catfish and the ever present Sunfish.

My college Christian fellowship had a weekend retreat at Timberlane and we had a fabulous time. The house was equipped with so many beds that it was able to squeeze in all of us. The location couldn't have been any better, as the house was literally feet from the lake, equipped with its own boat dock. The kitchen was spacious and equipped with many cooking supplies so we were able to cook for large quantities of people. We had a ton of fun and it was very pleasant to work with Scott, the owner. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!

What a spectacular property. We had 17 people stay at the Timberlane Retreat at Lake Gaston, ranging in age from 8 to 80. It accommodated our family reunion group perfectly. There was plenty to do for all in our party. The dock was great for swimming, diving, fishing, and relaxing. The house was extremely comfortable, with all bedrooms and bathrooms perfect for our family. The air conditioner kept the house at a very comfortable temperature throughout our stay, even when the outdoor temperature and humidity was in the high 90s. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils and equipment to cook for our large group. There was enough space for people who just wanted to sit and relax, as well as space for the kids to play pool, watch TV, or play ping pong. I will recommend this place to all my friends and colleagues, and our family hopes to come back again for another reunion.
Owner response:Thanks James! Glad we could accommodate your group.

Thank you so much for opening your lovely vacation home to us over the years and for making the arrangements so easy. It has been a pleasure from beginning to end. Timberlane Retreat will always be one of the most special places for my family...and we hope to get back one day. Our family is large and being able to spend several days together under one roof is a memory we will cherish forever. Sunning on the dock, jumping off the high platform, swimming, kayaking, fishing, cooking out, laughing, challenging each other to ping pong and pool, talent shows in the living room, and spending time together are just some of the moments we have shared at Timberland Retreat. Our family had an awesome time at the Timberlane Retreat. It was 23 of us, ages 4 through 70, and everyone had a blast. We fished, skied, boated and went tubing. The house and dock were amazing. The walk to the dock was very easy, with no stairs to go down. We will definitely go back!

The Lake Gaston Retreat was AMAZING! It’s hard to find a comfortable, home-like location for a large group, but you’ve found a way to do it.

We had a great time at your Timberland Retreat. There were 17 of us celebrating my 70th Birthday. It was a surprise/reunion. The house was just wonderful - neat, lots of space, very comfortable. From condiments to bedding to games - everything was provided. We were blessed to have beautiful weather so swimming, sunning, boating and using that large dock made it all perfect. Many thanks.

The Gaston Retreat is the perfect family vacation spot. The view of the main lake is exceptional especially the sunrise. The boat house and dock area with the jumping platform was a delight for the kids. The house is well equipped for all kinds of food and fun.
