Aloha and E komo mai (Welcome) to our studio condo which we have proudly named Hale a u’i lani (House of Beautiful Skies).

When you enter our Hawaiian home you will be immediately drawn to the spacious lanai overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean. From our second-floor location your senses will be dazzled by the sights and sounds of Maui and all of the beauty you have dreamed about for your Maui vacation.

Resting just 20-feet from the water’s edge you will experience vibrant rainbows, spectacular sunsets, unmatched views of the islands of Moloka’i and Lana’i and the Humpback Whales playfully coming to greet you during their annual visitation (December - April). (No binoculars needed)

As spectacular as the beauty is outdoors … we encourage you to come back inside, make yourself at home, and experience the comfort of our condo; designed with classic Hawaiian furnishings and decor.

Once the warm Maui sun has set … enjoy preparing your meals in our fully-equipped kitchen, or sit back and enjoy one of the many DVDs that we have provided for you. Or if you prefer, mix up your favorite beverage, choose from one of the many Hawaiian Music CDs provided, and just relax on the lanai.

Even with all the beauty and excitement that surrounds you, at some point it will be time for sleep. Curl up in the queen size bed and let the sound of the ocean set the stage for a peaceful night’s rest. For additional space the sofa also pulls out to reveal a comfortable queen sleeper.

While on Maui, however you choose to spend your vacation, you will find the amenities available at our complex a good starting point.

There are a wide variety of beaches in the area to choose from. Beginning with our own Kahana Beach located just a few steps from the condo to the beaches of Ka’anapali, Kapalua and Napili; you are a 2-minute walk to a 5-minute drive from the beaches of your choice. We are in the middle of it all. No matter what kind of beach you are looking for … from rocky tides pools to explore, to wide sandy stretches, they are all here for you and your family.

We are nicely situated in Kahana between Ka’anapali and Kapalua; for dining and shopping you are a short walk to the fine restaurants and shops at the Kahana Gateway Center or a short drive to the world-class shopping found in Kapalua, Napili, Lahania, and Ka’anapali.

  • Most deepest gratitude from the two most gracious hosts Jack and Michael. Mahalo nui loa for sharing your beautiful home with us. From the sign at the door you know this is a special place. Not only does this place have stainless steel fridge, dishwasher, working AC (this is huge), comfy bed, tv, and all of home's luxuries, but its the Hawaiian details that makes this condo a class of its own. It has a very welcoming and warm feel that can't be taken in pictures. Every peice of furniture, handle bar, turtle figure, kitchen towel, bathroom mirror ... (its true i can go on and on) you can tell has been chosen with the utmost care. From the lanai, - not only do you see a nearby island, and occassional rainbows, but the most beautiful sunsets - Maui has the best. Also you are two minutes from stepping door to sandy beaches. Empty out your digicam, you'll need lots of space for these pictures!! Absolutely breathtaking. As two people, getting married in Maui which we've never been to, staying at a condo for the first time (not a hotel) Jack and Michael with their fountain of knowledge and thoughtful emails helped set our mind at ease. I recommend this place to anyone who have never been to Maui or have been to Maui many times before. You will be satisfied! Can't wait to go back!

  • This was our fourth visit to Maui and by far the most relaxing and enjoyable. We had always stayed in resorts or condos near the more touristed area of the island. This was our first stay in Kahana and we really appreciated the peace and beauty of this area of the island. We practically lived on the lanai....great views of the ocean and surrounding islands, and amazing sunsets every evening. The condo was very comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. We look forward to staying at the condo again in the future. We had a great vacation! Mahalo Michael and Jack!

  • My husband & I would like to give our deepest thanks to Jack & Michael for our recent stay in their Maui condo. We can't imagine a more delightful place for us to have stayed for our 1st visit to Hawaii. We felt as though we truly discovered a "gem" among the many large condo complexes surrounding this one. Everything from the beautiful decorations to the gorgeous view from the lanai, to the MANY small thoughtful touches Jack & Michael provided, made us feel so very well cared for. And this care started WELL before our stay, with the many responsive E- Mails Jack & Michael sent, with loads of informative suggestions on ways to make our stay in Maui as enjoyable as possible. Not only their knowledge of the facilities, but their deep respect of the culture of the people of Maui made their suggestions so valuable to us. The only thing that would have made our stay in Maui more enjoyable would have been having Jack & Michael with us, to share a Mai Tai with!! We sincerely hope we'll be able to do this someday.   • We really enjoyed staying at Michael and Jack's condo for our honeymoon. The view was spectacular and the location was central. They were also just a phone call away for the entire trip to answer any questions we had about restaurant, hikes, waterfalls, you name it. We would definitely stay here again as well as recommend it to our friends and family. We loved watching the turtles in the water from the balcony and were also pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of neighbors. We were even invited to a Hawaiian tea at sunset.   • What a way to celebrate our 25th Anniversary! Suite 207 was so welcoming upon our first-ever arrival in the Hawaiian Islands. But the great spirit of welcoming did not start at our arrival - it started months and months before when I began my search for places to stay on Maui. Jack and Michael were always responsive to our emails and phone calls. The info they provided was very helpful to planning our trip. My husband, who has a bad back, appreciated the good mattress in the suite. I was looking for a home away from home and knew I found it by the professionalism and warmth of our hosts.   • On May 31, 2009 we arrived at your home on Maui for the second time. When Dave and I walked through the door we felt like we were back home. Jack and Michael you have more than the Aloha Spirit. We can't thank you guys enough, for sharing your little piece of paradise. We had so much fun watching the sea turtles. And on the last day we saw a sealion right in front of the condo it was like he was waving Aloha to us. It was so cool.The condo is very clean and tropical looking. If you need rest and relaxation and want to forget your troubles. This is the place to be! This is the best place. Thank you both for the gifts and flowers. Your kindness is overwhelming.   • Round two! We recently returned home from our second stay at the condo and absolutely loved, which is really no surprise, because everything about the condo feels like home – except the fact that we’re sitting on the Pacific Ocean with the most beautiful view and warm sunshine. Really though, on our first day there, my husband and I were sitting on the couch and he looked at me and said, “We’re home. This feels like our home.” And, he’s right – walking into the condo and settling in, feels like home. We were impressed with Jack and Michael’s constant willingness to help plan our trip and make it exactly what we wanted. When we arrived to the condo it was sparkling clean with all the amenities needed (including a cooler, beach chairs and towels, Hawaiian CD’s, all the kitchen supplies you could imagine, extra pillows, an iron – the list goes on). My husband and I were in Maui for my best friends wedding. We hosted a small party one night – everyone loved the condo and was so impressed not only with the location, but also the interior decorating. The biggest bonus of our trip, second to the wedding of course, was meeting Michael and Jack! Meeting the two of you was so exciting for us! We feel like we’ve ‘got to know you’ over the last two years with both our trips to Maui – so it was so wonderful to finally put a face to a name. You are just as charming in person as you are over the phone. We can’t wait for our next vacation to Maui! Without a doubt, we’ll be staying at Michael and Jack’s condo! Mahalo for a creating a beautiful paradise and sanctuary within your condo. We loved calling it home!
