Thunderwolf Lodge is a beautiful new, 4500+ sq foot log home features a gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, walk-in pantry, Viking range, large island, all in slab granite. The formal dining room seats 12 people comfortably. The large great room features a massive Chief Joseph stone fireplace surrounded by windows with gorgeous views of the Spanish peaks and lower valley. Also included is an entertainment center with 55 inch High Definition plasma screen TV, DVD, CD and surround sound.

Why the Owner Chose Mountain Village
I have been comming to big sky since the first year they opened. My parents owned one of the first codo's in the area. Over the past 30 yers I have had the opportunity to watch Big Sky evolve into a world class ski resort. My husband and I love the outdoors, we love to golf, hike and bike in the summer, downhill, cross country and snowshoe in the winter. We never get tired of the spectacular views, and love the fact that our Lab can roam the property free.

We had a reasonably large group which the house accommodated without a problem. Wonderful house,great access to the mountain. The ski-in and out directions provided were spot on and VERY convenient. Close to the base. We had a wonderful time and look forward to coming back.

A group of 14 of us stayed here in January, 2012 (along with the house next door), and this home was everything we thought it would be and more. We had 8 people in this house and 6 in the house next door. The 8 of us were very comfortable, and there was more than enough space for all 14 of us to have fun after the ski day. All of the finishings were first-class. The kitchen was stocked with more than enough plates, glasses, etc. for all 14 of us to cook breakfast every morning and dinner most nights. The ski-out was easy as can be; you simply ski down the driveway and then down to the lift. The ski-in options were limited as the run above the house (War Dance) was closed all week, but the other ski-in option was more than convenient enough. All in all, I would highly recommend staying here if you find yourself in Big Sky.

We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for our group. We had 11 family members to begin with and all had plenty of space with room to spare. However, when more then half the group left and it was just the 5 of us, we still felt cozy and at home. The layout of the house really works well. We have rented in Big sky for over 10 years and this is one of the few homes everyone in the family really liked.

Wonderful home with all amenities you need. Enjoyed the game room with the children. Truely easy ski in and ski out. Cannot wait to come back.

This mountain home is a dream to be able to stay in something so awesome.The decor is everything you could possibly want in a ski home.The access to thunderwolf lift is fantastic.skiing back is fun, just dont miss ramcharger lift at the end of the day.Thanks for all the memorys.

The Thunderwolf Lodge is fabulous. The kitchen is a dream and the appliances are top notch. Really enjoyed the lay out and decor. The ski in, ski out is a little tricky but if you take your time it's OK. We had a few gentle falls. We hope to use again as we love Big Sky.
