"Oh my gosh!" This is the penthouse vacation setting that will make you think you are on TV... You and your guests will enjoy this recently completed and decorated penthouse at St. Lucia, the newest of the magnificent high rise condominium buildings comprising the Silver Shells Resort and Spa in the heart of Destin. Beach, pool, spa, fitness center, tennis, basketball and Ruth's Chris Steakhouse... all right there within steps of St. Lucia.
This two story penthouse is our family's vacation home that we open to guests to enjoy the floor to ceiling view of the emerald Gulf. Every square inch of the condo is professionally designed in sophisticated decor. We have upgraded the flooring to travertine and added granite countertops. Additional lighting and wallpaper have also been added to enhance the beauty of the unit. We love our Condo and you will, too.
The upstairs master suite is huge and opens onto a private balcony overlooking the Gulf. A Jacuzzi with a view, roomy shower and his and her sinks are features of the master suite bath. On that upper level is a "Bunkroom"... perfect for the kids... it comfortably sleeps two on separate single, trundle beds. Another master king bedroom and twin bedroom await on the lower floor, each with its own large private full bathroom. Four bedrooms and, if you need it, a comfortable queen sofa bed in the great room... and that's not all... fabulous living space, flat screen TVs, DVD/CD players and more...Balconies on both levels open to fabulous views of the Gulf and its perfect, white beaches, just beyond the pool.
As if that were not enough, there is a BONUS - your penthouse rental INCLUDES the poolside CABANA a private, air-conditioned, beachy cabana with bathroom, TV, sofa, chairs, microwave, fridge and blender... perfect for an afternoon respite from the pool and beach or maybe just for a cold drink and a quick return to the sun.
We're just a very short walk to The Back Porch and Grazie's, two of Destin's restaurant favorites. Or, be your own chef....boil some fresh shrimp in our full kitchen or grill some steaks on one of the St. Lucia gas grills on the terrace.
We are not investors... this is our home and we open it to you... only the best. Please, no smoking inside.

Stayed in the amazing unit the first full week of August 2011! Traveled with another family we had a total of 10 in the group. No problem getting us all in. The cabana was such a blessing with alot of beach chairs and toys already there. This kept sand to a minimum as we traveled back to our room. Pool was very large and offered plenty of room for the kids. Plenty of dining options close with the Back Porch only a couple minute walk. The kids favorite was the candy shop next door, again in walking distance. The pictures don't do justice to this condo, if you rent you won't be sorry! Carole was pleasant to deal with and always answered any and all questions. Going to Destin, don't pass up this rental!!!
