Blanco de Vista is located on a bluff overlooking the ocean just north of Florence. Located just steps to the ocean where guests can look for shells and take a stroll along the beach. The cabin is located between the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area to the south and trails and Heceta Head to the north.
As you enter the main floor of this two story house from the expansive Blanco de Vista deck you will be greeted by the coziness of a well rounded living area and kitchen. The living room has a fireplace to warm up the guests. Plenty of firewood under the deck for guests use.
Blanco de Vista sleeps up to seven people between its two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the other with a queen-size bed, a daybed, and a futon. For infant, Graco Pack and Play (sleeper) available. The downstairs bedroom has an outside entrance.
You can have a great vacation relaxing at the sea and also enjoy Wireless High Speed Internet access.
Blanco de Vista is nearby activities such as Old Town Florence, diverse cuisine, shopping and the Siuslaw River.

Why the Owner Chose Florence
We purchased Blanco de Vista because of the location. We loved the view and the short walk to the beach through a hobbit hole type trail.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We love going to the beach in every season of the year. In the summer you can enjoy a great walk along the beach and in the winter you can enjoy the winter storms relaxing by the fireplace in the living room. There are many shops and great restaurants in the Florence area.
Great View of the Pacific Ocean and a short 5-7 minute walk to the beach right out the front door!!

We stayed here for a weekend a couple of weeks ago. It was just perfect! The vacation rental is fully stocked with everything you could need. Close by to old town and yet right off the beach. Perfect location, perfect place. We loved it!!

Great comfy beds, lots of linens, nice view, quiet (except for the ocean! which was great), great neighbour, secure, quaint, lots of ammenities, awesome and very helpful owner, fireplace was fabulous after a day on the dunes, close enough to everything while still being on the water, loved the hobbit trail! too much to mention...truly a home away from home with all the creature comforts. It was great having several tv's as when there was a little time to watch a bit the kids could go watch their own stuff...nice deck and so very, very private. We would come back again for sure! We were more than comfortable, perfect for a family of four or more. Loved all the little beach house touches too! Thanks for sharing the home with us! We had the best time!

Words can not do this property or the people involved justice. This was the dream come true for my wife and I on our 6th anniversary. The owner was an incredible host to us and fulfilled perfectly! Her house keepers went far above and beyond my requests to make this a special snapshot in our lives. The trees are trimmed to provide a perfect view of the beach and the sunset. The property is spotless inside and out. The house did not smell like pets, there were games and books the dishes were clean and abundant, the house keepers went to special lengths at my request to help me make the atmosphere perfect for our anniversary. There was wood in the fireplace ready to light, I shipped them my CD that they had playing in the bedroom when we arrived, I arranged for them to set up some flowers for my wife and they did an incredible job! This was so far beyond my wishes and desires that I am still wondering if I was dreaming the whole thing. My wife was so surprised when she opened the door to hear her favorite love songs playing in the background that tears came to her eyes. All the care and effort put into making my wife's dream come true was a little inspiration from me and a huge help from the owner and housekeepers. I travel for a living installing computer and network equipment for Credit Unions, and in all my Dimond Hilton experiances, Never, Ever have I been treated better or had better facilities! Amazing!! It was our dream... I will revisit it as soon as possible! I am so surprised to only see 2 other people comment on this property? Stunned actually... Makes me wonder what's wrong with the people that did not comment? It is a dream come true, like the comfort of my privet cabin in the mountains, only on a beach! Cheers to the owner and her team! I would not really call them house keepers, more like Gods of quality! I am still so amazed! Thank you!! and special thanks to the housekeepers, the nicest couple in Oregon!!!

First, my family adores this beach home (my husband, myself and our teenage son). We have stayed there twice and are returning in the spring. The home is very well equiped and maintained with practically everything a person could want. The view is pleasant and the deck is awesome for relaxing and having a glass of wine as the sun goes down. The trek to the dunes (and over them) is great exercise. The owner provides excellent customer service and is great to deal with. We BBQ'd at the house both times we've been there (make sure to bring your own charcoal). We love the wood burning fire place. Our teen son really enjoys having his own bedroom and DVD player. We love the upstairs bedroom for the privacy and the view. Very romantic!! One bathroom is a bit difficult as we are used to 3 at home but doable. We enjoy Florence and have been there many times. The C & M Stables are a bit of a drive but worth it if you love to ride. The horses are not worn out trail horses but lively and full of personality. We would most definitately recommend this home to a friend.

We had a great time relaxing by the ocean. I take care of my mother, sister and brother and we were looking forward to this much needed vacation. They never really had a true vacation, so they enjoyed this time as well. This home is very well maintained. The only problem that we found was that for 6 people, one bathroom was a problem! If you are visiting with a group, exercise patience!--The fireplace was so cozy after long walks on the beach! Plenty of firewood was provided for the renter. We did all of our shopping (groceries) at the local Fred Meyer (about 5-10 min.) away. There is a neat trail right outside the door and a couple of blocks away, then it leads you to some wicked dunes. My elderly mother could not make the hills. A gentler beach is just a drive a few blocks away. They have handicap parking available. People need to be able to handle stairs. You have to go up stairs to get to the front door. The owners were kind enough to allow our small dogs to come along, for a fee. However, they were not allowed in any of the bedrooms. We found this out after arriving there. I do believe there is a size limit of the animal. They have to approve of each animal. Florence has a lot of neat, little shops to visit. I would definately come back. If it was just my husband and myself, I would stay here! If I had my whole family, I would pick a place with more than two bathrooms, let alone one!
