This home is decorated with the comfort and warmth of the Colorado Rocky Mountains and features a gourmet kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances over looking the living room and dining room. In the living room there is a vaulted ceiling, sofas, and love seat resting on a beautiful oriental carpet centered around the woodburning fireplace.
The dining room has a large banquet sized dining table that comfortably seats ten. Two oversized sliding glass doors exit the dining room to a large deck, with gas grill and hot tub. Also on the main floor of the home are four bedrooms and three bathrooms, and laundry room. The upper level of this spacious home has a loft, large master suite with a king bed, a great room with a gas burning fireplace, game table, tv and small wet bar, another bedroom with two twin beds and a large bathroom offers the luxury of a deep soaking tub.

A lovely home in which to spend the Holidays! Our family truly enjoyed the quiet, well-appointed home which is situated up the hill, well away from 70. The owner was very conscientious and accommodating. We will most definitely rent this home in the future!Recommended for: Families with teenagers.

The Garmisch Residence was everything we could hope for and more during our 10 day stay. This spacious, beautiful and welcoming home is guest friendly and every amenity was available to our family and friends. We could not have planned a better summer in Vail. We had plenty of room for family and guests and were able to accomodate an inpromptu cocktail party for friends "in town" from Vail to Steamboat Springs!Did you find this review helpful? We have been going to Vail for over 20 years and are now repeat quests at Garmisch. Without a doubt, this is the nicest home that we have stayed in. The layout, number of bathrooms, the bedding as well as all of the rest of the amenities make this an ideal place for multiple couples or families. This past season, we had 4 couples for part of the week and a 5th couple for part of the week and there was plenty of room and privacy for all. We will never stay anywhere else! This is our favorite place to stay in Vail as we are repeat guests. The Garmisch house is the best deal there and it has it all including the hot tub and a gas grill. About the owner: Our family enjoys staying at our home for special occassions or just time to get away and enjoy the mountains. We have two daughters and three grandchildren. We are active and enjoy skiing, hiking, golfing and all the incredable mountain activities.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes:
We came for winter skiing but summer was why we stayed! There is so much to enjoy - like golf, tennis, hiking and fabulous summer concerts!
