Charming old Florida style home just 150 feet from the beach with spectacular Gulf of Mexico views. Experience sunset views from both the upper and lower screened-in porches in comfortable rocking chairs and the outdoor dining table. Our fully air conditioned home offers three bedrooms and two and a half baths.
You will enjoy all that we have to offer including watching dolphins at play, views of pelicans and ospreys flitting around, or simply shelling on the beach. The Island is approximately four miles long and half a mile at its width with only 300 existing homes.
Privacy and seclusion is the way of life. No cars are on the island and transportation is by golf cart or bicycle, which are included in your package.
“Havana Breeze” is fully equipped with flat screen TV's with satellite DirecTV, DVD players, and CD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and a large selection of dishware, flatware, and cooking utensils.
The “Havana Breeze” includes membership to the North Captiva Island Club that has complimentary use of 1 golf cart, 2 heated swimming pools, 2 tennis courts, hot tub, gym, basketball court, kayaks, bicycles, and other free amenities available for guests. Dock space, Jet-Skis and boats are also available for rental.

5 of 5 stars We had a wonderful time in North Captiva. The house was great! It is a great location and the house layout is perfect for a family. We especially loved the large screened in porches. First time visitors to North Captiva, but we will definitely be back! Our house, Havana Breeze, was exactly as described, the NCIC staff was very responsive to our needs, and Island Girls provides top-notch transportation! Special thanks to Josh and Sara Boinske for their attention to detail starting at our first call and throughout our entire stay. Best advice is to plan ahead for food and supplies. Though our house was adequately stocked with utensils, etc., it would have been nice to have simple things like Saran Wrap, foil, etc. If you are looking for man-made adventure, this is NOT the place for you. If you prefer quiet beauty which allows you to ignore the Blackberry, the laptop, and the hassles of "real life" for a little while, this IS the place for you. Even our 18 and 13yo daughters were quick to appreciate how enjoyable it can be to disconnect. We will be back ASAP! Stayed April 2011, traveled with familyDid you find this review helpful? When we first visited the island, we fell in love with the beauty and serenity of the island, as well as gorgeous white beaches. Our happiest moments are spending time with our family and friends in a place that makes you feel welcome and we reluctantly leave the island feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
Why the Owner Chose North Captiva Island:
We chose to buy our home “Havana Breeze” on North Captiva Island because it was truly a rare find. Steps from the beach with views that can range from golden orange and red sunsets glowing over the Gulf of Mexico, dolphins swimming, pelicans flying above, or the sandpipers dancing along the shoreline. The beaches are pristine and uncrowded, with many locations to gather seashells. We are within walking distance of the 700-acre state land preserve and enjoy walking for miles on the beaches and the preserve without seeing any signs of civilization except our footprints in the sand.
