Very private, & located on a six mile stretch of pristine, barely inhabited beachfront,excellent for swimming and body-surfing, Yellow Coco Lodge is a true paradise, a combination of ocean/sandy beach and jungle. The Beach House is a 20 second walk to the beach -- and we are located in Pt. Jimenez,on the Golfo Dulce, along the southern Pacific Coast of the Osa Peninsula, just 10 minutes from our local Puerto Jimenez airport and 12 minutes from town. National Geographic describes the Osa as one of the most biologically diverse areas in the world.

The BEACH HOUSE sleeps up to 9, with 3 full baths. You will love watching families of monkeys swinging high above, as well will be enchanted with the sounds of the howler monkeys, scarlet macaws and pounding ocean waves.

YELLOW COCO appeals to all types - for those of you who are looking for privacy,QUIET, rest, & relaxation, this is the perfect place to just hang out, be it on the spacious decks overlooking the beach and ocean, or swinging in a hammock under the huge almond tree right on the beach. For the more ADVENTUROUS guests, activities abound!!! There is great hiking of primary and secondary rain forests, trips to the Corcovado National Park, waterfall rappelling, canopy zip-lining, ocean kayaking, surfing, horseback riding, world-class sport fishing, bird-watching, night hikes, and even private boat trips to the Orchid Sanctuary or the Animal Refuge.

The property was developed by owners and designers, Ginny and Joe, and is truly amazing, from the lush gardens and coconut palms to the family-friendly ocean beach: the BEACH HOUSE is directly on the beach and has sweeping ocean views -- it has wide open spaces, a chef's kitchen, wrap-around balconies, as well sleeps up to 9, with 3 full baths. We also have available two large BUNGALOWS that each sleep up to four comfortably, complete with private baths as well as equipped kitchenettes. All the structures are approximately five years old, and you can rent either the Beach House or one or two bungalows, or any combination thereof. For info on the bungalows, you can email your inquiries, as they are priced separately from the Beach House.

The main house has a minimum rental time of three nights. We often have family groups of 12 - 16 who rent the entire property. We have a full-time staff who will cater to your needs, be it tours, massages, dining in or out, yoga classes, or whatever you are in the mood for.

Housekeeping is provided every day, unless specified differently; there are 2 kayaks on the property for guest use (a double and a single).

TOURS: Some of the tours will need to be arranged ahead of time, and others can be arranged upon your arrival - please ask up to send you a complete PDF with descriptions and prices.

PRIVATE CHEF: just ask - they shop, set the table, prepare, serve, and clean-up: prices vary depending on group size: arrangements must be made a minimum of 4 weeks in advance.


OPTIONAL CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST BASKET (brought to your house daily) - Consists of fresh fruits, breads, pastries, cereal, yogurt, juice: cost is $11. pp plus tax: OR, you can prepare your own meals (we will even grocery shop for you for a $20 per trip charge), or you can dine at neighboring lodges, restaurants and bars: some guests like for us to arrange some catered-in dinners - others want us to arrange for their own personal chef - we will arrange everything for you.

There are RESTAURANTS nearby and in-town: no one serves breakfast on the beach, however, so you might want to partake of our Optional Continental Breakfast Basket.

NOT TO MISS!!!! There is a terrific SPAGHETTI NIGHT (actually a varied buffet) every Friday night on the beach (buffet-style) with a live band and dancing: every Tuesday night there is a fabulous BEACH BARBEQUE, set up right on the beach and lit entirely by Tiki torches - very romantic!

Getting around is easy, as taxis are abundant and reasonably priced: arrangements for a rental car can be made ahead of time.

The views are breath-taking: it has wrap-around balconies, a chef kitchen with concrete counter-tops, dining area for 8 (+ 3 adjacent barstools), wood vaulted ceilings, and a comfortable great room that converts at night into sleeping for 3, complete with adjacent Master Bath pod, with shower overlooking the ocean. The first level has 2 large bedrooms, each with private bath: each has a queen bed + twin bed - they are connected by a covered garden breezeway sitting/dining/second kitchen area and beautiful gardens. The house is literally steps from the beach/ocean & shady hammock area: there is a private outdoor beach shower. All soaps, paper towels, bottled water, beach towels and chairs are provided. 2 kayaks for our guests use.
