This superb apartment in Barcelona is a perfect solution for two couples, a family, or a group of friends. If you were searching for light and sun then you found your apartment as it receives sunlight during nearly all the day because of its six meter windows. It has two bedrooms, one with double bed and the other with two twin beds. There is a couch in the living room to accommodate up to six people. It also offers a sunny private TERRACE along with a table and four chairs, the ideal place to enjoy a fresh dinner at night to rest after a hard day.
The location is excellent and very central just at a five minute walk from the famous SAGRADA FAMILIA, the cathedral from Gaudi (area eixample) in the center of Barcelona. Near the Sagrada Familia you will find a bus stop to take the TOURISTIC BUS. At only a five minute walk you can find the "Avenue Gaudi," a pleasant avenue very appreciated for the spanish people, with a lot of restaurants and terraces to take a drink and observe the lighting of the cathedral by night (you can’t miss it). An other interesting place and also a stop of the modernist route (like the Sagrada Familia) is the HOSPITAL SANT PAU.
The area is especially SAFE and QUIET. At only 20 meters from the apartment you will find three supermarkets, an excellent bakery that makes delicious croissants for your breakfast and a biologic shop. From our apartment you can reach all the areas of Barcelona in a very short time. There are two metro lines (L-Lilac (II) et L-blue (V) at a two minute walk from the apartment that lead you directy to the Plaza Catalunya (Old City) 15 minutes or Pº de Gracia (ten minutes) . If you want to go to the beach you have also a direct bus that last around 15-20 minutes.
A free cot for a child is available if needed. All costs are included.(water and electricity). The building is equipped with a LIFT.

I stayed here with friends for 4 days in September - a little girls getaway/reunion (I'm from Canada, they were from Australia!) This place is amazing!!!! Beautifully laid out, comfortable beds - stunning views! It was very close to multiple Metro stations, walking distance to the Sagrada Familia and a quick cab ride to Las Rambas! The apartment was furnished with almost all the comforts of home - the only thing missing was some wine glasses - which we purchased and left behind for the next guests! We loved sitting out on the balcony most nights and enjoying the views, the weather and great company! Frederic was an amazing host - giving us detailed directions to the Metro, shops, etc via a map. When I come back to Barcelona, I will definitely be coming back to this apartment! Thanks to Frederic for helping to make our girls getaway a success!

We stayed for a week in this wonderfully spacious apartment and enjoyed every minute of it. It's clean and bright and located in a quiet neighborhood. The balcony is exceptional and allowed for some extra ordinary “al fresco” dining. Just a couple of notes for the owners/managers - the kitchen utensils/supplies leave much to be desired. One reason we rented an apartment was to save money and what we did find in the kitchen, made that a bit difficult. The knives are really bad and when we arrived, the kitchen condiment inventory consisted of a package of salt and pepper from US Airways and some coffee & tea. We bought the basics (a bit spendy but required) and left them for the next “residents”. Use in good health…. Although Karine and Frederic were wonderful (He actually did some laundry for us, which was way beyond our expectations and we actually felt guilty for even accepting his offer), it would have been great to have some information about the neighborhood - i.e. markets, bars, restaurants - suggestions - etc., etc., etc. May just a little flyer out with a map…and not the “Bus Turistic” that everyone hands out – it is SO confusing and details are lost. And finally - as touched on by another reviewer and above, I think it's pretty important to have a clothes washer available (if not inside the apartment, then at least close)....the stress over laundry was a bit intense for a couple of days... Regardless of those things - we really did have a great experience in Barcelona and it was mostly because we felt after spending the days sightseeing that we were coming "home". Thanks so much

We recently stayed here for nearly a week with another adult couple. THis apartment is amazing. Its very well located in a quieter neighborhood but very close to a metro that connected us to all of the action. The apartment is quite spacious with a gorgeous terrace where we spent most of our time. The owners are very friendly and respond quickly to all emails. In fact they are located in the building so if you need anything its very easy. Our only complaint is there is no washer/dryer and we couldn't locate a laundromat close by but it wouldn't prevent me from staying here again! We highly recommend this apartment to people of all ages to really feel like you are at home while in Barcelona!

This is a lovely, sunny apartment in a quiet area of Eixemple, spotlessly clean and well appointed. We really felt at home here, and, away from the main tourist areas, like Barcelona residents for a week.
