Relax along the lakes edge in the moss-filled Cypress trees and the peace and quiet of the Cajun bayous and swamps. This lake community is less than an hour from New Orleans or Baton Rouge. This secluded setting offers you your own boat ramp and dock for those that enjoy fishing or water sports. For day trips you may consider the many sights and sounds of New Orleans or the attractions of Baton Rouge. Locally we have many Plantation Homes you can visit, such as Oak Alley, Laura and Evergreen Plantations.
If hunting is your desire, inquire from us about hunting Alligator, Deer, Duck or Dove or catch a sack of Crawfish for your own Crawfish boil. Of course you can always relax in the front porch rockers, hammock, or under the Gazebo. Our guest house is made of old Cypress just as the Cajuns did in years past and we ask that there be No Smoking. Presently not takeing reservations due to hurricane damage.
