Beautiful private pool home on quiet cul-de-sac. Located 1.5 miles from downtown Palm Springs, this two bedroom, two bath home is the perfect retreat. Mature desert landscaping and mountain views make this home a great place to relax and enjoy the pool and large spa. Desert Luna comfortably accommodates up to four people in quiet privacy.
This comfortable 1,300 sq. ft. house was built in 1981 and features all the amenities of home, including a computer with high-speed internet access, Wireless Network for your own laptop, home Stereo, DVD player, and HDTV with HBO and Showtime. The master bedroom features a king size bed, private bath, TV, and sliding door out to a private bonus garden with citrus trees. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed. The modern kitchen is well-equipped with dishwasher and laundry, and there's a gas BBQ grill on the covered patio.
The house is surrounded by a beautiful mature desert garden with palms, citrus, mesquite, ficus, and pepper trees, and a variety of cacti and flowering plants. There's a nice combination of sun and shade throughout the day. The yard is completely fenced and private, and offers views of Mt. San Jacinto and the Santa Barbara Mountains.

Looking forward to booking another stay at this peaceful retreat. The private, beautiful yard is a great place to relax with a good book, a glass of wine, and to take a swim. And only a few minutes to downtown Palm Springs. Great place to unwind! Would recommend to anyone who prefers the privacy of a private home while on vacation. Very quiet neighborhood as well.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, pet owners, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My wife and I have stayed here 6 maybe 7 times over the last 10 years, we have stayed in several properties in the area and this place is a really nice location. The property is very clean and has all you could need for your stay, the best part though is the fantastic garden very private with a large heated pool and surrounded by palm trees we have been so many times now each time we go back it feels like we are going home. Although we have not met John the owner he is really helpful, last year we took my friend and his wife, there 1st time and they thought the place was just amazing, my friend loves grapefruit he eats it like an orange, so every morning he picked a grapefruit off the tree for his breakfast, anyway we got stranded by the ash cloud we could not get back for another 2 weeks, I rang John and it was no problem we stayed another 2 weeks and paid for the extra 2 weeks on our return to England. I would recommend this property to anyone, great for a family of 4 or couples. We are going back again April 2011. Thanks John.
