The Metro Suite was the perfect home away from home for my time in Victoria. Steve and Trish are wonderful caring hosts, that take pride in ensuring their guests enjoy their stay. They exceed expectations with their attention to small details such as; fresh fruit and breakfast items in suite upon arrival, a completely stocked kitchen including the spices to make flavourful cooking easy, right down to detergent and stain remover for any laundry needs that may arise. I appreciated the time Steve took during check in to help orientate me to the surrounding area and noting locations of the market and attractions on the map. The Metro Suite is the ideal location for experiencing downtown Victoria without the necessity of a car, although car rental options are only a block away. Well Done Steve and Trish, I appreciated meeting you and look forward to seeing you again when spending many more vacation times at the Metro Suite.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

From check-in to check-out, this unit in Victoria is truly a 'gem'. Situated within a short walking distance to the hub of downtown activities, you could easily do without a car rental if staying here. Owners Trish and Steve are the most accommodating and helpful hosts, available to answer any questions and offer suggestions to enhance your enjoyment of Victoria. The unit itself is furnished to make the most of it's space and contains everything a vacationer could wish for. Upon our arrival the whole unit was immaculately clean, and the fridge and cupboards had been stocked with enough goodies to allow us to put off grocery shopping until Day 2. When the door to the balcony is shut, the unit is very quiet. Every aspect of our stay, from the initial contract to returning the keys was handled efficiently and professionally. You'd be hard pressed to find a better 'home away from home'.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+.

We just had a baby and came to Victoria to visit with grandma. Her place was too small for the 3 of us, so we decided to rent a condo for the week. This condo was prefect for us, walking distance to everywhere we needed to be, we were even provided with a loaf of bread, milk and fresh fruit to get us started. Trish and Steve were really great to deal with and I highly recommend this condo to anyone visiting Victoria.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We couldn't have asked for anything more from our stay at Steve and Trish's condo in downtown Victoria. The location was superb, walking distance to everything we wanted to do. We were able to walk down the street to rent a cool scooter to make a trip all around the island and to the Butchart Gardens. The condo was very comfortable and we really enjoyed everything around it. We highly recommend staying here!!! We just got back from New Orleans where we stayed in an apartment that had absolutely rave reviews (VRBO). Great location in the French Quarter, but I can tell you that it did not hold a candle to your rental. So, just a quick note to say again how much we appreciated: - Your service - The wonderful apartment - Its location - The fact that it was spotless PS Hope you have been able to enjoy some of the Winter Olympics in person! We spent 10 days in the Metro Suite in early October and really enjoyed our stay. Prompt, personalized service from Steve and Trish set the hallmark for this one bedroom condo in downtown Victoria. They made every effort to answer all questions asked. The location is perfect. Walk to great dining, entertainment, shopping and all attractions. Walking distance to Seattle and Port Angeles ferries. Very easy access to included underground parking. 20 minutes to Victoria airport. Very good grocery store only 5 blocks. Fully equipped kitchen for dining in if you choose. Unit is truly spotless - the cleanest accommodation that I have ever seen! Very quiet neighborhood too! I can't recommend this condo highly enough.Did you find this review helpful? This was our first experience with VRBO. I am sure we are spoiled now, because it will be hard to top the overall experience. Steve met us at the Clipper dock and kept our bags until we could check into the suite. He also gave us a quick tour of downtown by car so we could get our bearings. This was extremely helpful, since we had several hours to explore prior to our check-in time. As many have stated before, the suite is lovely and extremely well-equipped. The location is fantastic. We didn't rent a car, but did take the city bus out to The Butchart Gardens (go on a day when there are no cruise ships in the port; also go in the afternoon - it was not very crowded at all). When we do get back to Victoria, we will plan our trip around the availability of the suite. Annaka and I had such a wonderful stay in the Metro suite! We couldn't have picked a better place to spend our honeymoon.
