Our condo is a unique townhouse-style unit situated in a low density complex surrounded by lush tropical foliage and palm trees. The condo is on the second and third floor of the building. You must walk up steps to an exterior deck to enter. There is no elevator.

Once inside you will find the recently renovated eat-in kitchen, living room, dining room, screened in lanai, powder room and full-size laundry on the first level. The second level has two bedrooms and two full baths. The master bedroom has a private bath, king-size bed, and its own screened in lanai. The second bedroom has two single beds. Each bedroom has its own TV and VCR and/or DVD Player. The living room has a CD player, TV, and VCR/DVD Player also. Pets are NOT allowed.

The condo complex features a large, heated pool,two tennis courts, and canoes. There are no other condo complexes on this part of the Island, only houses and the wildlife refuge. When you walk to the beach, you enjoy the uncrowded, pristine white sand and Sanibel's famous shells. World-class restaurants, golf, bicycle rental, and boating opportunities are close by.

Sanibel, what a great place to unwind and enjoy the sand, sun and shells! Our accommodations were great. Would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends. We Look forward to many return visits.

Break from the Snowy Northeast

We left snowy New Jersey and arrived to Sanibel Island and this lovely condo. While the temperatures were 10 degrees below normal for this time of year, we loved our walks along the beach, bike rides throughout Sanibel and Captiva, and shell hunting every day. We even got sunburned sitting by the pool! We loved the location of the condo on Sanibel's quieter end of the island. The beach was beautiful and we collected many treasures. We saw dolphins playing nearby in the water as we took our sunset walk. The condo was comfortable, well stocked and nicely furnished. Loved sitting out on the lanais for morning coffee, and evening drinks. Very convenient location to Ding Darling Refuge, Shell Museum, and C.R.O.W. (a must visit!) The owners were very easy to contact and deal with. We hope to return again and next time make use of the tennis courts and kayaks.

We enjoyed our New Year get away at your lovely condo! Sanibel gave us the opportunity to play like our kids, without the kids. We swam in the pool, biked the sanctuary, toured the island and light house from end to end. With Junes must eat at restaurant list, we enjoyed the best of Sanibel. You're on our return to list!

Rich: Thank you and your wife so very much for letting us use your condo for our summer vacation. We really enjoyed it. Caught some catfish and whitings off the shore with shrimp. Ate at the Mucky Duck and Flamingo. Took our son and his friend parasailing. Went through the Ding Darling refugee and saw a couple of alligators. Also saw about a two foot alligator on the walk way to the beach. Brought back home some lizards and found a whole bunch of shells. On Wednesday we hit gold with the shells and must have gotten about thirty pounds worth. Had fun at the community grill. One night there were guys cooking from California, New Mexico, Tennessee & Indiana. Got some great tips on different foods to cook. After going last summer we purchased a wagon with oversized tires from Menards as well as a rubber mallet to pound the beach umbrellas into the sand. People kept telling us that we were really prepared and decked out. Loved the ride down and back. Weather was great and really got sunburned especially on the tops of my feet. Once again my wife and I thank you and yours for a wonderful time. Bill

I am a frequent guest of the Braatz's in Blind Pass. Their units are beautiful, fully stocked, well maintained, nicely decorated and cozy. I feel at home in their homes and will continue to stay in their units at Blind Pass for many years to come.
