  My husband and I just spent one week in this beautiful, spacious, and perfectly located apartment in Salzburg! The furnishings are beautiful, beds comfortable, and we felt at home immediately! Our hostess was exceptional as she answered all of our questions and even translated a conversation with a fly fishing guide whose services we were trying to arrange. The apartment is within easy walking distance to all of the top tourist attractions, yet in a quiet neighborhood! We were even provided with a list to the owners favorite restaurants, many of which we tried and enjoyed! If you are wanting to prepare your own meals the kitchen has every convenience and all of the necessary tools, the grocery is a very short walk away as well. I cannot say enough about this property. We have been renting VRBO properties for 10 years and this has been by far our favorite! Many thanks to our hostess and her delightful children for making our visit to Austria even more special! I would highly recommend this listing!

  I recently returned from a trip to Salzburg with my husband and 21-year old daughter. After a hectic few days in London, we were thrilled with our accommodations in Salzburg. The townhouse sits on a beautiful quiet street very near the river. The apartment was very roomy and spotlessly clean. Our hosts, Michaela and Wolfgang, were there to greet us when we arrived and so helpful in suggesting where to find a good restaurant, the grocery, public transit, etc. Michaela was so kind to even make reservations for us at a nearby Italian restaurant. The apartment is very well equipped. We particularly appreciated the washer and dryer, the large bathroom, the comfy beds, and lots of room to spread out. We cooked breakfast every morning, the kitchen is delightful. We walked along the river into the city center, it was an easy ten minute walk. Salzburg is a lovely town and we were so pleased with our stay there. Thank you so much, Michaela and Wolfgang!

  My family of 5, 2 adults and 3 children, stayed for 3 nights. Michaela and Wolfgang are wonderful hosts and were keenly attentive to our needs, questions and concerns. They made sure the apartment was clean and prepared to our needs upon our arrival. The apartment is situated about 800 meters from the central train station. The walk is not too onerous, even when pulling one's bags. The traffic can be a little heavy and loud, but sidewalks are plentiful. The apartment is contemporarily stocked with many useful components including a washer/dryer for clothes, dishwasher, refrigerator, and all the necessary items to cooks meals. The grocery stores are back near the train station. From the apartment, it is easy to walk down to the river and walk along the paths. It is equally easy to wander through the city streets to Mirabel gardens. Although it can be a bit of a hike to the old city, remember, it is Salzburg and is there not a better way to spend 20 minutes on a stroll? We found our stay to be terrific. The beds are comfortable, the linens plentiful and the space of an apartment could not be undersold. Thanks to Michaela and family for a wonderful, fun stay.

  My 2 teenage children and I arrived in Salzburg after a grueling 30 hour trip from Sydney Australia. I had chosen this apartment knowing we would be needing somewhere relaxing to recover for a few days. This quiet, spotlessly clean, warm and spacious apartment was everything promised in the add and the idyllic town of Salzburg, in the week leading up to Christmas, was a beautiful setting to begin our European adventure. Thank you to Michaela, Wolfgang and children for making us feel right at home and (most importantly) insuring we had operational internet and TV etc. Michaela's suggestions, as to which local sites we might enjoy, were much appreciated, especially her suggestion to visit the Christmas Market in Hellebrun, a lovely experience which we all enjoyed. We also loved the walk along the river and really had fun exploring the whole town on foot, though none of us are accustomed to walking as much at home. With all needs, including the railway station and supermarkets so close at hand this would make a comfortable base for a longer stay; allowing enough time to also explore the surrounding area. This is exactly what I will be doing, if I have the good fortune, to once again return to Salzburg.

Salzburg is mostly known for Mozart, the Sound of Music and the Salzburg Festival in July and August, but beside this there are lots of other things to discover. Especially during Christmas time our town gets a magic atmosphere with all the Christmas markets, concerts etc. We are glad that you liked your stay in our apartment that much!   Our stay at this place was perfect. Salzburg is a great city, the owner are really nice and helpful and the flat is beautiful. There is plenty of space for 4 adults. We hope to come back one day! We highly recommend this flat! On a beaucoup aimé notre séjour à Salzbourg, l'appartement est magnifique et les propriétaires très gentils et serviables. L'appartement est assez spacieux pour deux couples et la cuisine très bien équipée. Cet appartement a beaucoup de charme. On vous le recommande sans hésiter! Nos gusto todo, la ciudad, los propietarios muy amables y el piso. Tiene mucho encanto este lugar y hay bastante espacio para dos parejas. La cocina muy bien equipada. Esperemos volver un día!!!

  My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. Our hosts were most welcoming and respectful. The charming apartment is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. It is located in a quiet street but close enough to all Salzburg's central attractions. It was nice to have easy access to the river and its bike and walking paths.We'd love to go back to this historic and beautiful city. Thank you.

  Michaela and Wolfgang made us feel right at home when we stayed in Salzburg. The apartment was quite comfortable and spacious. We were a family of four (2 adults and 2 children) visiting Salzburg and found the location of the apartment to be quite convenient (close to the railway station). If we visit Salzburg again, we will most certainly stay with them again. Subhash

  Before coming to Salzburg I emailed with Michaela many times, so I knew my landlady was a kind, caring and trustful person. When I and my family (my mother, 8years-old son, 6years-old daughter, and 2years-old daughter) arrived at the apartment, Michaela and Wolfgang warmly welcomed us. The apartment was so wide, clean, well equipped and quiet, so we quickly fell in love with it. Also the location of the apartment was perfect for sightseeing. It was very easy to access to the city of Salzburg and the central station on foot. It enabled us to visit many favourite places such as the city,Salzkammergut and Schloss Hellbrunn. When we came back to the apartment from sightseeing, my kids played in the garden and enjoyed watching DVDs which Jacob rent them. So they never got board during the holiday. We absolutely enjoyed staying in Salzburg and were very happy with the apartment. I strongly recommend this apartment if you want to have a perfect holiday in Salzburg!

  We arrived in Salzburg after an overnight flight from the US with 3 small children (7, 5, 1). We were so exhausted and it was wonderful to be greeted so warmly by Michaela and Wolfgang. The apartment was perfect for our family. We had plenty of space and it had everything you needed. It was a nice touch to provide us with great coffee!! With the 3 small kids we didn't really go with the general Salzburg tour book recommendations and Michaela and Wolfgang helped us pick and choose what to do and they really understood the attractions that the kids would enjoy. They also helped us find the basics such as grocery, ATM, pharmacy etc.. They provided a play area in the yard for the kids and it was greatly appreciated. The location was great. We had a car and we did drive to most places. It is very easy to get around Salzburg with a car. We did walk along the river to the old town. We really loved Salzburg and would recommend this apartment to anybody coming to visit this wonderful city.

  An excellent apartment that felt like home due to its location, style, open space and very friendly and helpful owners. Wolfgang, Michaela and their son Jacob were there to welcome us on our arrival, at the front gate and to make us feel at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Salzburg and would love to return and stay at this home away from home.
