  Thank you for letting us rent your lovely home for the holiday. We just loved the location and being so near the ocean was such a treat for us. Also the house was very comfortable for the 5 of us, and a wonderful place to stay at this time of year. The house was very clean and well maintained, and we would definitely recommend it to our friends. The Pine Lodge was a great spot for Christmas Eve dinner, and the Black Cat restaurant was also excellent for dinner. We hope that we can do a return trip sometime. Happy New Year!!

  We really enjoyed staying at the property. It has a wonderful view of the ocean, and all of the amenities needed for an extended stay. The location is perfect as it has beach access, and is right next to Shamel Park. We would definitely stay there again.

  The house was so well stocked, immaculate, with a great short walk to the beach. The views of the stormy beach were fabulous. Our two families had a wonderful time there. A trip to the Captain's Sea Chest, on Moonstone Beach, for terrific seafood, especially the Chioppino, is well worth it.

  This house was exactly as described, clean, neat and a short walk from the beach. There is also a lovely community park right across from the property. My children, ages 11 and 15, really thought it was terrific. My only issue was that I thought that the owners were a tad overprotective about their belongings. Pictures posted in every cabinet about what goes where. Labels on every drawer and cabinet about how many dishes, silverware. It's eminently practical, but not very welcoming. You're constanly reminded that this is NOT YOUR HOUSE. That's why I subtracted a star. Otherwise, we had a nice stay - did lots of antiquing, Hearst Castle, Linn's Farm, Harmony Wine Cellars.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+.

The comments we hear most from our guests besides those that you mentioned, are of the incredible views, and appreciation for our organization and labeling of amenities in our home. Our guests tell us since it is not their home, how they love not having to guess how something works, where something goes, or where to find what they need. This way everything is easy to find, and then made nicely available for the next guests. With the attention to detail that we provided, we have done our best to create an environment of peace and ease for the ultimate in relaxation. We know that not everyone lives this way, but that most people would like to, at least for a week or more.

  We wanted to celebrate our four birthdays in Cambria. The home is VERY inviting, extremely clean, and VERY comfortable. They thought of everything. The view was better than I had expected as I had just been to Cambria the two previous weeks. Drove by the house and didn't realize the view it offered. The view is BEAUTIFUL! I hope to stay there again and again and again!
