Enjoy serene, indoor-outdoor living in the heart of the ancient Redwood country, with the Eel River at your doorstep. Inside the attractive, comfortably-furnished home, you are encircled by forest and river views. Huge windows and hardwood floors provide an abundance of natural light. You may want to sleep and eat 'outside' on the large, screened porch. You will follow the movement of sun and shade between two patios, surrounded with lovely gardens. The large swimming pool will call you for a quick dip. At the bottom of the garden path you will be mesmerized by a quiet stretch of the Eel River.
The fully-furnished house includes a computer room with Mac OS X. When you get ambitious, you may want to travel five miles to explore beautiful Benbow Lake and golf course. In less than an hour you can reach a number of Redwood state parks, Shelter Cove beach, or the famous Lost Coast. Victorian Ferdale is 45 minutes away. Not much further is Eureka with art galleries, museums and a zoo, plus the university town of Arcata. Perfect for two couples, or families with children.
