About the owner: Bill & Cathy met as college sweethearts, now married 34 yrs, both born and raised in MA, currently living in CA. Cathy's family has owned property in (Popponesset) Mashpee since 1962, and spent every summer on the Cape as a kid. After addicting Bill to the Cape, and celebrating all family gatherings there, they decided to purchase their own home in New Seabury. Every year, they reunite with their two adult kids (one living in Denver and the other, Boston) and MA family for a warm and memorable vacation. This home is their pride and joy!
Why the Owner Chose New Seabury: New Seabury is 'boutique' unique with personal options making a completely satisfying vacation for every family member. After living in CA for 30+ years, and traveling most of the country, they gravitate back to the favorite family 'private bubble' within the Cape. Daily prescription is a barefoot walk on the soothing beach, rock hopping the jetties toward the famous 'Spit' peninsula where beach parties took place years ago. Great photo opts. No one should leave grumpy except, of course, because the vacation is over!
The Unique Benefits at this House: Central location with easy access to both Falmouth and Hyannis- ferry connection for day trips to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket Island (Presidents' & many celebrities favorite escape). There you
can bike, motorbike, or take your own vehicle via ferry. The family has done all three depending on the kids' ages. Biking was most fun!
Easy access to Nantucket Sound, oceanic side of the Cape, offering comfortable beaches without the crowds. Sit and view Martha's Vineyard dimly outlined in the near distance, and on the opposite, Hyannis. Swim all day in the mild temperatures of the water, without the tides interrupting your swim. Or, if the weather is uncooperative for beach time, stay home and swim/lounge in your own private heated pool.
