"Tranquility on the Bluff" is a fantastic home for your next vacation, family reunion, wedding lodging or corporate retreat. You will feel far away from the rest of the world on this very private eleven acre lake front estate.
For larger groups, rent, "Serenity on the Bluff" (beds for 20, VRBO listing #79030) with the two homes, there are beds for thirty two people.
Also known as "Tranquility on the Bluff". The home received its' name, because it is located in an area of Yates County, known as Bluff Point. Bluff Point is the peninsula what separates the East and West branches of Keuka Lake. Long ago the shores of Bluff Point were surrounded with vineyards and dotted with steamboat landings to ferry people and agricultural products to the three towns on Keuka Lake. Over time the vineyards were abandoned and were gradually replaced with campsites, seasonal cottages and year round homes.
"Tranquility on the Bluff" is an awesome home for your next vacation, family reunion, or corporate retreat. This home was built in 1996 and has approximately 2000 square feet of living space, including four bedrooms and two full baths, living room, dining area, and kitchen area, recreation room, and a large partially-covered deck. The home faces west and is located near the tip of the peninsula that separates the East and West branches of Keuka Lake.
The main floor has an open floor plan that includes the living room, dining area, kitchen, cathedral ceiling, and skylights. In additionally there are three bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has a queen-size bed and overlooks Keuka Lake. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and overlooks Keuka Lake. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed and is on the back side of the home and has its own private full bathroom with a shower. Off the main hall is a full bathroom with a tub/shower. Off the dining area is a fabulous, partially-covered deck. The deck is furnished with two tables, chairs and the jetted hot tub/spa. The deck is surrounded by a railing/fence with latch-able gates. The deck faces the lake and is fantastic for dining, relaxing, and enjoying the breath-taking Keuka Lake sunsets.
The lower level has a bedroom, recreation/game room, and utility room. The bedroom has a king-size bed, and a sliding glass door that faces the Keuka Lake. The recreation/game room is equipped with two day beds with trundles. In addition, the recreation/game room has two large windows facing Keuka Lake.
The home and yard is surrounded on three sides by woods. There large off-street parking area for at least six vehicles. The parking area is at the end of a long semi-private driveway and within 20 feet of the house. Also, adjacent to the park area is a fire ring, surrounded by benches. This is a fantastic place to spend a romantic evening or gather with your family and roast marshmallows under the stars.
Access to the lake is located in front of the home via a path and near the lake, a stairway with 17 steps. The shoreline consists of 450 plus feet of natural unspoiled shoreline, 40 plus foot dock, swim raft and mooring buoy. From the shoreline the water has a very gradual increase in depth as one walks into the lake. The lake bottom is hard and consists of stones and rocks of various sizes.

There is a 4% Yates County Lodging Tax on the rental fee. a house cleaning fee of $125.00, and security deposit of $250.00.

Bill, Sorry I wrote my first review for your other place(Serenity on the Bluff), my apologies. Anyway, Tranquility on the Bluff was awesome and is very family friendly. The hot tub was awesome on the cool November nights. We would recommend this place to anyone. Might give it a try sometime with our boat(the fishing sounds good on Keuka). Stayed here with close friends for 5 days and nights. The pictures don't do it justice. Beautiful view! Plenty of room! Clean, quiet, and comfortable! Spending time in the huge hot tub looking at the million of stars above was one of the highlights of the vacation! Would recommend this property for multiple couples, entire families, and 4 or more friends travelling together. The owner was very accomodating with any questions or concerns.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.
