Slip away to the peaceful Eastern Shore. Enjoy the soft sea breezes on a quiet, relaxing evening sitting on the porch that looks out on the Atlantic Ocean. Three bedrooms (one queen, one double, 2 twins, and a sleep sofa. Bedrooms upstairs open to upper deck with views of the Atlantic ocean. Well equipped kitchen, cozy living area, two full baths, one with tub/shower, one with shower.

Just minutes from the Chesapeake Bay and the beach. Fast/easy access to water via the public boat landing behind the house. Bring your boat,canoes, or jet skis.
Area activities include antiquing, birding, bicycling the back roads, canoeing and kayaking (kayak rentals available in Cape Charles), and paddle-boating (rentals at the Marina). Scooter rentals by the hour, day or week. These are vespa style, moped scooters-rent them in town. Schedule an evening sail on the bay. Day trips include spending a day on Tangier Island where the crab served for lunch is right out of the water. Visit Chincoteague (if your timing is right, you’ll be able to see the famed Chincoteague ponies) Tak a walk on the trails of the nearby Eastern Shore of Virginia’s National Wildlife Refuge, a stopover on the Great Atlantic Flyway and nearly 300 birds have been identified on the refuge. Visit the Barrier Islands Center. NASA's visitors' center on Wallops Island depicts the birth of man's space explorations

Visit the unique shops in Cape Charles, relax on the beach and enjoy good food at the Cape Charles Coffee House. Fish from the pier or relax on the beach at Kiptopeake State park just down the road. Take in a play at the historic Arts Enter theatre, browse local artists paintings and hand made items at the Stage Door Gallery. Or just sit on the deck and relax.

Great place to get away from it all. Or, for more excitement, just a little over one hour away, historic Williamsburg, Busch Gardens & Water Country with many outlet malls for shopping. Virginia Beach & Norfolk just 30-40 minutes away as well.

  • I stayed here with my family for a very relaxing summer week...there were no issues or problems with the house; it was very well-kept and clean. The location was beautiful for sunrises and sunsets and was close to all the areas of interest you want to see on the Eastern Shore. Very easy living, and I highly recommend the place!

  • We had a wonderful stay in Cape Charles. This home was quiet and relaxing, just as pictured. We were close to everything, the beach, Kiptopeke park, nice places to eat and lots to do. Our four children are 10 and under so this was the perfect beach for us. Shallow, calm water and not crowded. The people in town were so friendly and helpful. I appreciated that Zana advertises an "all-inclusive" price for her rental. No surprises, just a nice relaxing place to stay that is well stocked and comfortable for a family. We hope to come back again in the future. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home.

  • Our family rented for 1 week in Aug '06 and loved the house, very clean & spacious - great views from the front porch. We brought our boat and had a great time on the Chesapeake Bay - pristine beaches, dolphins swimming near our boat, fishing was great - sightseeing was awsome - all in all a great place!
