This newly-acquired, two-story condo is located within Kuilima Estates West, a gated community of condominiums adjacent to Turtle Bay Resort (the only resort/hotel on the North Shore of Oahu). Those familiar with this area already know of its breathtaking beauty and relaxed atmosphere. Newcomers will find the North Shore to be an unassuming, quiet, stunning, natural landscape that is quite a departure from the more densely-populated commercial centers of Honolulu/Waikiki.
Within a short/scenic walk of this condo, you’ll find immaculately-maintained resort amenities, complete with numerous restaurants/bars (indoor and outdoor), live entertainment, pools, hot tubs, beaches for snorkeling/surfing, riding stables, tennis, walking/running trails, two championship golf courses, a spa, and more.
You'll be within a brief drive to additional gorgeous beaches (some of which you’ll have all to yourself at times), to include Waimea Bay and Bonzai Pipeline. You'll be within a 20 minute drive to the town of Hale'iwa (filled with charming shops and restaurants), and a 45 minute drive to Honolulu (filled with almost everything else you could need/want).
This condo is located on the George Fazio Championship Golf Course. The glassed, vaulted great room opens to a lanai and the fairway of the 3rd hole, with a gorgeous panoramic view of lush mountains behind it. The first floor of the condo contains the great room, a kitchen, a full bathroom, and one of two dedicated bedrooms. The second floor contains the second dedicated bedroom, a second full bathroom, and a loft (which can be used to sleep two additional people, a baby/toddler, etc.).
The condo has a very open, clean, coastal feel. The bedrooms and loft are carpeted. Each bathroom is floored in marble tile. The remainder of the condo (the kitchen, great room and hallway) has bamboo hardwood floors. The condo contains two AC units (though AC is rarely needed), as well as ceiling fans throughout. A dedicated parking space is located by the front entrance.
Kitchen amenities include a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, and all items necessary for cooking/dining/entertaining. A private condo pool (50 feet from the front door) contains an additional outdoor grilling center. Laundry amenities (a washer/dryer and ironing board/iron) are located on the first floor. The bedrooms/bathrooms have fresh linens upon your arrival. Beach amenities—to include beach chairs with back straps, beach towels, bamboo mats, and a beach cooler—are provided.
For your in-condo entertainment, you'll find cable TVs, DVD players, a DVD library, books, stereo/CD players, and board/card games. Other amenities (telephones, a First Aid kit, a fire extinguisher, etc.) are available. A local property manager is nearby. Some vacation rentals on Oahu have a 30 day minimum stay. This rental has a minimum.
If you're choosing to discover the North Shore, renting a condo is a wonderful decision. For the length of your stay, you'll feel as if you're part of an exclusive (and at the same time inclusive)a true community. In a condo, you can choose to be alone or around others. You can dine out "resort-style" or cook a quiet meal in your own space. You can pack up for the beach in the morning, and return to a "home" at night. We've truly found this condo to be an ideal "homebase" during our stays on the island.
