our family was looking at a few homes to buy on Daufuskie and we stayed here while looking. The cottage was clean clean clean! The service while on island was impeccable. We watched the sunrise one morning and as my daughter said "it looks like someone is pulling it from the ocean" probably one of the best sunrises I have ever seen! The beach is a quick hop across the street and I found 4 sand dollars within 5 minutes - watched dolphins playing and enjoyed the boats. Hilton Head is a quick water taxi ride away but the island exploring via golf cart was amazing. Marshside Mama's had a great meal and seeing people riding horses on the beach was fairy tail like. We cant wait to come back to Daufuskie! Did I mention we were here in JANUARY! It was 72 degrees and sunny!Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
