Sundial B307, my 1-bedroom condo at the Sundial on Sanibel Island has direct Gulf of Mexico views. Newly remodeled in 2005 and professionally decorated with all new furnishings and artwork in 2011. Rent owner direct and save over adjoining Sundial Resort rates. Our condo has a direct oceanview (only a few steps to the beach), large screened lanai with sliding glass doors that open to the full width of the condo to allow for sea breezes and sounds of the surf. The condo is equipped with full kitchen: (refrigerator, range, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, coffeemaker, coffee grinder, electric juicer, blender, toaster, wine chiller and much more than you usually find in rentals). Sundial B307 offers a completely separate bedroom (not folding doors), ceramic tile flooring, crown molding, and corian/granite countertops and more upgrades.
To make you feel at home, we have a washer/dryer in unit, ceiling fans as well as air conditioning, hair dryer in bath, two cable TVs--2 flat screen TV's, DVD with small library, stereo, binoculars, wooden high chair, beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, beach toys, and two bicycles on loan. Free wireless internet, too.
Pamper yourself on vacation and don't settle for a discounted unit with outdated decor or no view. This is the best of both worlds. . .deal directly with the owner with the safety of the Sanibel property manager that handles accounting, key pick-up and emergency maintenance issues. Why the Owner Chose Sundial
We first vacationed at the Sundial in 1990. It quickly became our family's favorite vacation destination. We took the plunge 4 years later and bought Sundial G106. Since then we have bought and sold several condos to get closer to the Gulf of Mexico. Thanks to Hurricane Charley in 2004, our condo was completely remodeled. At that time, we added upgrades to the unit--ceramic tile floor, crown molding, sliding glass doors that open the full width of the condo and removed the accordian door and made the bedroom separate. We also own F401 and B306, both 2-bedroom/2 bath condos at the Sundial.
This is a popular condo and any cash flow I have goes back into updating and refurnishing the unit.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The beach, the beach, the beach. When we first vacationed on Sanibel, my then 6-year old son was up before dawn looking for shell "treasures" on the beach. It was a magical place for our family. It's so relaxing. The big decision for the day is where to go for dinner. Over 40 restaurants to chose from, but no McDonald's, traffic lights, or high rises. Ellen Creager, travel writer for the Detroit News stayed in B307 when writing a feature on Sanibel. Sanibel Island was named by famed travel writer Arthur Frommer as his #1 favorite place in the world (over Paris, Bali, NY, etc)

I had a lovely easter holiday with my 6 year old son at the sundial resort. This year we were pleased that there were more children to play with at the pool and we enjoyed the closeness to the ocean. The apartment was excellent - all features need including sand pit toys.

What a beautiful and comfortable condo in a wonderful area. With the north facing deck I was able to sit outside at anytime of the day to enjoy a book or the view ocean and enjoy the breeze. Nothing negative to say about this property. Close to shopping and resturants but not on the main drag. Quiet and relaxing. I hope to go back to Sanibel and will see if this condo is again available. Thanks Candy for sharing your home.

This property was advertised as having all those extras that you don't find in other VRBOs and it did not disappoint. The unit was updated, had a great view, was well kept and comfortable. All the extras you needed for the beach and then some were available in the storge room. Bikes were more than adequate and were used daily. When we heard others on the beach talk about how they had rented bikes, had to purcahse chairs and coolers for the beach etc, we were very pleased that we had all of this available with our rental without having to go out and purchase. Wouldn't hesistate to work with Candy and rent again!

The accommodations were lovely, the weather perfect! I'd recommend going to Florida in October as the perfect time of year for a stay. Our rooms were nicely furnished and very clean. We were even witness to a lovely wedding on the beach right in front of our condo! It was great and I would go back in a New York minute!

Updated, clean, and beautifully decorated! Fantastic beach view from living room, bedroom, and lanai. Kitchen is fully stocked with all the amenities. Owner is very accommodating! Definitely returning for another visit soon-- highly recommended!

Candy, Thanks for the maticulous attention to the details of our visit. Sanibel provided the beautiful setting and wonderful weather but you provided all the extras...beach chairs, towels and bicycles! The kitchen had everything I have at home and it was all new and clean. Your deco is so pleasant I feel like I'm on vacation the minute I walk in. We'll be back!
