Italy Perfect Winner of Trip Advisor-FlipKey's Award of Excellence 2011, 2012, 2013. Conde Nast Traveler Expert Specialist. Travel & Leisure Magazine Italy All-Star 2013. BBB A+
One block from the Via Veneto, it is just around the corner from many five star hotels.
We welcome your inquiries and questions and will respond within one day. The calendar is kept up to date.
This apartment has more than just location; it has recently been renovated and has all the amenities vacationers or business travelers want.
It has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom, full kitchen, spacious living room with a sofa bed that can sleep two either in two single beds or joined as a Queen. The kitchen is fully equipped and the apartment offers satellite TV (for some English-language broadcasts), high speed internet access and DVD player.
This bright and clean apartment is in a wonderful location in the heart of fashionable Rome. The Via Veneto remains the place to be seen, whether you are strolling and enjoying the window displays of the fashionable shops or sipping a drink in the cafes that line the street. This is the neighborhood of the Dolce Vita, the Sweet Life as popularized in the Federico Fellini film. Many fine restaurants abound in the neighborhood and some of the grandest hotels in the city can also be found nearby. The villa Borghese is just two blocks away so if you want to stroll, jog, or bicycle, it is very convenient. And if you have children, this is a great place to take them. You are right at the top of the winding Via Veneto, near the Porta Pinciana gate of the ancient Roman walls. Stroll down the Via Veneto past myriad cafes, to Piazza Barberini and its Triton fountain. This is on a cross street to Via Veneto, intersecting next to the Metro station entrance. The Metro will whisk you off to places such as the Coliseum and the train station.
The comfortably-sized living room is furnished with microsuede covered sofa and matching easy chair, coffee table, desk and chair, an entry table, and an entertainment center that has a landline telephone (free international calling). High speed internet access.
The separate, eat-in kitchen has all you need to prepare and serve a lovely meal. There is, uniquely, a full height refrigerator with a freezer that will hold more than ice trays. A four burner gas cook top, oven, and microwave offer multiple cooking options. Make your coffee with a drip coffee maker or an Italian espresso pot. Pots, pans, utensils and dishes are all there as well as a dishwasher to clean them up. The bathroom has a large shower stall and a stacked washer and dryer. The bedroom is comfortably sized with a queen sized bed (Italian Queen, 3 inches wider than US Queen), television, full length mirror and closet.

Exceeded our already high expectations
This property was even nicer than the photos. We had an odd request for an electric tea kettle and were pleasantly surprised that it was there when we checked-in. Rene, our greeter, was waiting for us when we arrived. He was available at any time for any question we had on the apartment. He also turned out to be the best person for helping us find hidden gems in the city to visit as well as restaurant recommendations. This was our first time getting a vacation rental apartment in Europe and we truly believe that Italy Perfect was the reason for our wonderful experience. The information packets that Pat and Lisa provided were very detailed and spot on. I doubt that other agents provide this kind of stellar service

Much nicer than the photos
Positives: much nicer than the photos Rene the greeter is great, very helpful and accommodating. keyless entry back-up Shower head over 6 feet tall and on wand. Two large close closets. Dryer safe closet across from kitchen but I did not use it. Wine store and car rental just out door to right a block on other side of street "Lotti's" out the door and left a block with very nice people and good breakfasts extremely quiet at night large bed but very firm. negatives an 8 minute walk to the Spanish Steps miscellaneous get the roma pass - three days of public transportation and entrance to two popular sites without lines. Don't miss St Peters, can enter from Sistine chapel after doing the museum tour by going right instead of left when you exit and skip another long line waiting to get in. not that many people speak english fluently so ask questions when you get the chance. nice park villa borgese just two blocks north

Wonderful StayGuest comment entered by owner
We had a wonderful stay in Rome and much appreciated the detailed orientation that Rene made to the apartment and neighborhood. We were also tremendously grateful for his assurance during our baby's health scare.

Great base for Rome holiday
Via Veneto is comfortable apartment to be the base for your Rome holiday. It is handy to all main attractions via the adjacent Metro station or by walking down the tree lined Via Veneto. Comfortable and well appointed the appartment has everything required and is adjacent to good restaurants and cafes. The best coffee and pastries can be found at Cafe Lotte. We utilised Stephano for transport from the airport and he coordinated our arrival with the greeter who was very efficient in detailing the features of the apartment and key services in the neighbourhood. Thankyou Italy Perfect for a great start to our Italian Adventure

Via Veneto Apartment in Rome
We really enjoyed our stay in the lovely little apartment. We stayed with our two boys, ages 6 and 8. They LOVED the tiny elevator and enjoyed riding with the luggage while we walked down! It was in a quiet but pricey neighborhood, but once we figured out how to use the buses we were all set. We also quickly decided to cook breakfast at home in the small bu well-appointed kitchen due to the cost of the surrounding cafes! We also walked to and from many of the sights in the City without too much trouble. Loved being close to Villa Borghese and the beautiful Borghese Gardens. Within a block of the apartment were the world's greatest coffee, Taza del Oro (went there every day!), a fabulous bakery with many, many gluten-free options, and a yummy pizza-by-the-slice place which my 6-year-old could not get enough of. We would definitely stay here again and we would recommend Italy Perfect highly. We had all of our questions answered and everything was as we expected.

LovelyGuest comment entered by owner
The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed. We made good use of the kitchen and the laundry facilities! I would definitely stay there again, or recommend to a friend. As we were there in winter, one concern we'd had ahead of time was about keeping warm enough in an older building -- but in fact the apartment was kept quite toasty with radiant heat. I actually already have recommended Italy Perfect to a couple of friends who are thinking about trips to Rome.

Great Little ApartmentGuest comment entered by owner
Great Little Apartment
This apartment is in a very good safe area, and if you are reasonably fit and enjoy walking, you can walk almost anywhere you need ,to see the sights. However there is a metro stop 8-10 mins away if you need it. The kitchen is very well equipped ,and has everything you need to cook for yourself.Everything was clean. Hairdryer, iron and board all provided. The bathroom was also well equipped ,having a washer and a dryer, however I found the shower a little awkward. It had 2 fixed shower heads, neither of which seemed "right",however we managed. The bedroom has lots of storage room and the bed was very comfortable. The room is also quiet,so you can sleep well. Nearby, there is a small supermarket, and also several restaurants where the food is good. We ate at Pomodorino a couple of times, and also at Marco's. The information sent beforehand is comprehensive, and the "greeter" was waiting for us as planned ,and was very helpful, answering our questions. I have to say,I felt the sitting room ,on first opening the door, was smaller than I had anticipated from the photo, but actually was fine.Internet access was good. If the apartment was mine, however,I would make it a 2 person only apartment, and replace the converter lounge/bed with a proper, really comfy couch !! Overall,we had a good time in this apartment. Thank you.

Nice apartment in nice locationGuest comment entered by owner
Nice apartment in nice location
We enjoyed staying in this apartment for a week in September 2011. The rooms are all roomy and nicely furnished. Having a washer/drier is a great convenience. The couch was comfortable for siting and sleeping (I sometimes snore.) Mostly quiet though a few nights we heard conversation or tv noise late, but this was solved by turning on the air conditioner (nice that there are separate controls for the living room and bedroom.) The location was good, on a pleasant street with good restaurants. For us, it was walking distance to many tourist sites, (we like to walk,) though it's a good hike to the Coloseum or Vatican, and we sometimes took a cab home at the end of the day. Wifi worked well. In short, we loved it, and would be happy to stay here again when we return to Rome.

Just Perfect!Guest comment entered by owner
The experience of staying in this apartment was even better than the descriptions we had read online, and our discussions with Italy Perfect prior to our trip. LOCATION: The apartment is just one block off the top of the Via Veneto in a great area with access to everything: just two blocks from the Villa Borghese Park, and easy walking distance to many of the top sites including the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, Piazza del Popolo, and others. Actually, twice in our stay in Rome we even walked back to the apartment after dinner in Trastevere on the other side of the Tiber River - a walk that took about 1.5 hours, but was completely doable and enjoyable (there is nothing like walking in Rome at night!). Rome is so manageable in its size, and you really see more of the city's character if you walk everywhere. But just in case, you can access the metro after a 5+ minute downhill walk from the apartment. THE BUILDING/APARTMENT ITSELF: Just as described, although we didn't realize how upscale the building actually was before we got there. There was lots of security and we felt very safe in the building. We also loved that quaint European elevator! Inside the apartment, there were two beds in the living room (for our two, good-sized teenagers), a separate bedroom with large bed for my wife and myself, a decent sized kitchen, and fine bathroom/shower. Oh yes..we were grateful for the washer and dryer! NEAR THE APARTMENT: There were great restaurants and breakfast cafes within a few block radius in all directions from the apartment, as well as a nice wine/gourmet food store about a block away down the same street. Do not miss the Villa Borghese Park - and especially the museum there which you have to book in advance (check it out online). Even my children who are not always museum enthusiasts were mesmerized by this one! You can also rent funky multi-person bicycles and segues in the park. Otherwise, just walk all over Rome from the apartment...as I said, the whole city is accessible if you like to walk, and you have decent weather. I would definitely use Italy Perfect again for any future trips. Grazie Mille !

Home away from home, but still on vacation...Guest comment entered by owner
Home away from home, but still on vacation...
My entire family loved this apartment. Let's start with the greeter. She was lovely. She waited despite the delay in our flight. She explained everything in full detail. The apartment had everything we could need. It even had an American outlet. What a treat. The refrigerator was a regular size and fabulous. The bedroom was a perfect size and comfortable. The location was perfect. Quiet. You can walk to restaurants, transportation, and anything you may wish. Our favorite little out of the way restaurant was Il Boscaiolo on Via delgli. Perfect for that first night in. For a nice meal out and a needed reservation try Restorante Vecchia Roma. For the Best Gelato is San Crispino by Trevi Fountain. The beauty is the apartment makes all of this easy to get to. I would stay here again and will recommend to all my friends.
