It is time for you to take a break! How about stepping back to a quieter time when life was simpler? From this authentic log cabin, tucked on a beautifully wooded lot in the back of a quiet cove, you can enjoy rocking on the porch as you watch the sun set over a distant island. A large gazebo and floating dock are perfect for fishing, swimming, sunning, or just sitting with friends and family. Bring your boat and enjoy all sorts of water sports or rent a boat or jet ski nearby.

Queen's Landing in Mooresville is the best spot to rent boats, jet skis, ride bumper boats, play miniature golf, dine, or take a river boat dinner cruise on the Catawba Queen. Dock your boat at the popular out door bar and hear live music and mingle with the locals. Charlotte and the Carowinds Amusement Park are less than an hour away.

Approximately 1650 square feet of living space includes: a cozy sleeping loft that looks down on a fabulous great room with a large fireplace and dining area.

  • We had a wonderful time at Cozy Cabin! The screened porch overlooking the lake is perfect for relaxing, talking, and eating. We also enjoyed sitting on the dock and being right on the water. The view is lovely, and the cabin's surroundings are peaceful and wooded. We took several walks and even did some shopping nearby. The cabin has been constructed of beautiful wood from an older home and has a spacious greatroom with fireplace. All in all, we had a great visit to Cozy Cabin!

  • Our visit to Cozy Cabin was just perfect! It is charming,comfortable,quiet and picturesque,an ideal place for rest and fun as well. There is a lovely view of the lake with use of the dock and cove for swimming,plenty of shade trees and screened side porch for dining in and enjoying the view!

I would very much like to visit again - it was just what I needed, no internet, no phone and no people.   • We stayed in your cozy, quaint cabin for our family vacation. We absolutely had the most memorable vacation on Lake Norman, NC. My children, ages 3 and 7 enjoyed swimming, fishing, nature hiking and jet skiing on the lake. My husband and I had a spectacular time grilling and relaxing on the screened porch.   • Our stay at your cabin was the best vacation we have ever had. The cabin is made of logs dated back to 1814 and gives the feeling of being part of history. The cabins setting gives both privacy and serenity. The fireplace is a bonus and we enjoyed a fire every evening. We hope that it can become a yearly vacation for us and someday for our family.

  • We brought our entire family from Idaho and joined family in NC for a stay at this lovely cabin. Our grandchildren had fun filled days of fishing and swimming and the adults could relax on the boat or the dock or just sit on the great screen covered porch and visit or play cards. We found the cabin to have everything we needed for a fun vacation. When work gets too hectic, I just think about sitting on the dock in the sunshine.

  • for over 75 years our family enjoyed a cottage in upstate new york until a family illness forced its sale. not until our stay at the glasgows have we felt such a sense of peace and relaxation. the owners are saints who've opened their beautiful charming cottage to us outsiders and any who stay here should be thankful for the escape, the serenity, the beach and dock for the kids and the heavenly peace that this cottage will give to your family vacation. the ultimate getaway, even for charlotteans. handle with care, this is a gem in the rough that has become lake norman.
