Hello... Welcome to our Lake Gaston home.
We have been coming to "our" lake (as we like to think of it) for over ten years. We believe we have put together just the right package to make your time at the lake the best vacation you have ever had!!! Our hope is you will come back and enjoy our home again and again... just like we do. When you are ready, check out our availability calendar and see if we can find a date that works for both of us...
There is a half acre of fun situated at the end of a cul-de-sac on some great water (six feet off dock, with a sandy beach as well), all situated in a large cove at the entrance to Lizard Creek... less than a minute from the main lake...no bridges to negotiate. A circular driveway with lots of parking for your cars (our family has had as many as five, with room left over), as well as your boat trailers (you will see ours there as well). Just two minutes from the community boat ramp.
A 2400+-sq ft ranch house with a 300 sq ft sun room, five bedrooms, three baths, dual zone heat/air conditioning (one electric, one gas), large kitchen/dining area (15 foot breakfast bar w/ six stools), dining room table seats ten more. A den/recreation room with full size pool table & pub/game table, sun room has a combo poker/bumper pool table, indoor/outdoor Ping-Pong table, fireplace, four TVs each with satellite receivers and VCR/DVD combinations.
Four hundred square feet of decking off the sun room, both gas and charcoal grills, plus 1500 square feet of swim dock/covered boat house, w/ lifts for your boat and jet ski, and space to tie up two more,...horseshoe pits, bad mitten/volleyball nets/equip, basketball goal/court (one at the water as well).

- We offer a 4 person paddle boat and a 14 ft canoe with all the life vests for all sizes (only requires a $300 refundable damage deposit). We have inflatables for towing behind your boat and other inflatables for swimming or lounging in the water. There is a picnic table by the volleyball court and a patio set on the dock for your outdoor dining pleasure. A campfire area for those SMORES. And when you are all worn out from everything else, there are my favorite spots, the hammock or the outdoor covered swing.

- No Pets Allowed : No Pets (that is the first answer, but call, we will talk, we have a pet addendum, but it is fairly restrictive, pets allowed outdoors)
- Kid Friendly : Sandy beach area with gradual slope to dock ladder...4 ft deep at shore side of dock. Volley ball, bad mitten, croquet, lots of games.
- Minimum Age Limit for Renters : Minimum of at least one person age 25...family groups preferred (no frat party grps)

- We also have a 24 ft, 14 person, used pontoon boat for rent for cruising the lake available right at the property. Pontoon boat rental rates: $150.00/day, but call to discuss, used means it has some issues, runs great (new Honda motor), one pontoon has slight leak that requires monitoring.

High Season .. mid May - mid Sep:
$400/night (1PM-1PM); $3000/week (Sun 1PM-Sat 1PM), all inclusive, (taxes, fees)
Low Season .. Sep 16-Apr 30:
$300/night (1PM-1PM); $2450/week (Sun 1PM-Sat 1PM), all inclusive (taxes, fees)
$100 Cleaning Fee required. 7% NC Sales Tax. $300 Refundable Security Deposit.
$300 Refundable boat deposit (canoe & paddle); 24' Pontoon for rent (call pls)

Why the Owner Chose Littleton
We both grew up taking lake vacations in Wisconsin so we have enjoyed the water and know the kinds of things that make for a great vacation. Lake Gaston is perfect, clean water, large, lots to see, lake level remains constant by law and is fed by two other lakes upstream ...this was a big selling point since we had seen what some of the droughts had done to other lakes int he area over the years we were looking, but not at Lake Gaston
The Unique Benefits of this House
A TRUE gradual slope to the water, great semi-enclosed sandy swimming area, oversized dock, lots of flat yard for games, family oriented house for large gatherings (17 can eat in the same room), very close to main lake with large cove privacy, boat launch a minute away, great full time neighbors!!!
