Owner's Profile
Owner Description
My husband and I are thrilled to be owners on the island of Kiawah, S.C.
We have loved visiting here over the years and then a dream came true to buy a home here and to rent it for use when we are not visiting.
Our kids are grown now and we try to get together a couple times a year here to enjoy each other and everything Kiawah and our home have to offer.
We love to play tennis, bike the island, go to the beach and to hunt for shells. Lately my husband has gotten into fishing and cannot seem to get enough of that. My favorite past time at the house is to sit on the porch and watch the wildlife around the gorgeous lagoon in the back yard. I really miss my porch when I am not there.

Our family had a wonderful time in your lovely Kiawah Island home in early August. We made great use of the bicycles, gas grill, card/bumper pool table and basketball hoop. The house is comfortable, spacious, beautifully decorated and the kitchen is well stocked. We especially enjoyed the spectacular view of the lagoon from the back deck and kitchen dining table. We will be back!

We had a great time at this Kiawah house! Extremely close to the beach on bikes and bikes were included in the rental. The house is a perfect location for all of the activities including nature and beach walks, biking, golfing, etc.. Looking over the lagoon every morning was a nice treat. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone.

We visit Kiawah for the biking and the wildlife and loved living in a nature preserve! The setting of this beautiful home is convenient to all the bike trails and the spectacular ponds and marshes! We saw plenty of wildlife in the lagoon while we ate breakfast in the mornings! The homeowners provided all that we needed for living comfortably. It was a blessing not to have to rent bikes and/or beach equipment during our stay. We didn't have to leave the island area all week! This lovely home has definitely been our favorite place to stay at Kiawah! Totally recommend it for couples or families!

We had 3 families staying together and the accommodations could not have been better! The house exceeded our expectations as it had all the amenities we required and was so beautiful and spacious. We had more than enough bikes, beautiful views from all of the windows, and a quiet place to talk and rest. This was an oasis! The owners were exceptional to work with and were able to accommodate us to a specific need we had. This was a fantastic experience and it will be the first place we look to book should we return to Kiawah.

Our family has been visiting Kiawah since 1989. We all agreed that this was the most lovely, well-equipped, and comfortable of all the places we have stayed. We all felt like we were staying at a friend's home. Never have we had access to all of the owners' bicycles. All six adults could ride at the same time with one pulling a burley wagon with two children. Mornings and evenings on the screened porch overlooking the well-landscaped yard and lagoon were quite peaceful. The house enable three families plenty of room without feeling crowded. I could ramble on for some time about our unique experience. We would definitely stay there again.

This was our second year staying in this magnificent house. With three adult couples, we found the 3 master br/bath very accommodating. The house had every thing we needed for a very active but relaxing vacation week. We plan on returning again next year.

Brenda and Nick, Thank you very much for a most enjoyable ten days in Kiawah. It was our first time back to the island in three years and everyone in our family had a great time biking on the trails and too the beach. The evenings on the screened in porch were perfect. Thanks again and we are very much looking forward to our vacation in Kiawah again next year.

The pictures do not do your home justice. Your attention to detail and your added assistance to us personally will always be remembered and appreciated. May 11 2008 Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. It served our purposes fabulously. Janette and Juerg were amrried on the beach in front of the Sanctuary and we had a wondeful dinner at Jasmine Poarch. Juerg is from Switzerland and his mother and sister came over for the ceremony. Janette's parents, came from Iowa and her brothere and wife from Seattle. The weeeind, of cours, was the highlight of the week, but we also enjoyed grilling, biking, walking and swimmin in the ocean, taking walks on the beach, spotting numerous alligators and other forms of wild life, makine a ocuople of trips to Charleston and eating excellent foods in the area. The weather was perfect for the entire week. The house remarkable for all of us. Thanks, Rogers family
