This non-smoking condominium is in Ptarmigan Village, a private, established mountain resort community set into the forest on Big Mountain Road. The buildings are hidden in the trees, blending into the forest. The resort has many amenities including indoor and outdoor heated pools, sauna, hot tub, and peaceful walking trails in a 52-acre private forest with jaw-dropping views of Whitefish Lake in the valley.
This condominium has been recently renovated with new carpet, tile and updated bathrooms. The main floor includes a full kitchen (with fly-fishing mural on cabinets); a comfortable living area with TV/VCR and fireplace; and full bath. A loft overlooks the living area with queen-size rustic log bed. Two bedrooms on the lower level share a full bath. One of these rooms has a full bed, one has two twin beds.
Big Mountain Ski and Summer Resort offers world-class skiing, awesome snow conditions, short lift lines, reasonable rates and zero attitude. Ptarmigan Village enjoys a free shuttle to Big Mountain ski area, two miles up Big Mountain Road.
Glacier National Park is an incredible treasure of breathtaking views, teeming wildlife, and national historic treasures. Waterton Provincial Park in Canada extends the experience to the North, and a stunning area is set aside in Northwestern Montana and Alberta for preservation and recreation. Hiking, boating, hunting, fishing, mountain biking, the list goes on.
Whitefish, only six miles down the road, is one of the last examples of a down-to-earth, Old West ski town. Whitefish has terrific restaurants, nightlife, and one-of-a-kind shops. |
