Scenic Cabin Rentals are located near beautiful Natural Bridge State Park, Kentucky + Red River Gorge, Kentucky. In business since 2001, offering over 30 modern cabins with popular amenities such as hot tubs, pool tables, ponds, satellite tv's. Cabins sleep from 4 to 15 people. Perfect for large groups; family reunions, church groups and weddings welcomed. Smaller cabins are available for couples.
There is also a beautiful Inn that features 16 rooms (sleeps 64), each with two queen size beds and a private bath with unique hand painted sinks. Most rooms have glass sliding doors leading to an eight foot wrap around porch.
Every convenience provided; no need to pack the house!
The area offers breath-taking views, undisturbed scenery, wildlife and nature abound, magnificent star gazing, fabulous hiking, rock climbing, fishing, mountain biking,canoeing and horseback riding. A new canopy tree zipline takes you 1900 ft across the gorge with breath-taking view. Numerous ponds are nearby the cabins. Some are clean and clear enough to swim in. A pool is nearby for those not so adventurous.
Many cabins are in a private, gated community offering dinners on weekends. (Seasonal) Some cabins are completely secluded by themselves; others have a cabin nearby within walking distance for groups who want to be together. All cabins are surrounded by woods and some have ponds. Come discover nature and enjoy a "little piece of heaven in every visit"! Get away to a more simpler time without noise, congestion and crowds.
Some cabins have wireless internet, pool table or some game table and many have outside hot tubs.

Semi-retired business professionals from Cincinnati, who have had a life long love of the Red River Gorge! Children in college. A beautiful labrdoodle puppy named Ruby Red. We love to go ATV, Hike, Swim, Fish.

The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
The night sky is stunning. Away from city lights, you can see the stars and moon. We love the mist coming up from the valleys and over the mountain tops. It is so quiet here. The pace is slow, neighbors are friendly and we love introducing our guests to the beauty of the Red River Gorge. We're less than an hour from city, but have the quiet of the country in the most beautiful setting.

We just loved this cabin. It had everything we needed including detergent to wash cloths! Very clean and airy place. I would highly recommend it for family reunions. The children had a great time playing in the downstairs game room.This cabin is close to a rock climbing establishment. We had a lot of fun there.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children.

I booked this cabin for a "girls getaway" for my Birthday. We found the cabin to be spacious and well equipped, especially with only 8 of us staying overnight. Everything was clean and ready to use, and the view of the lake was a plus. We hiked the next day in Natural Bridge Park. Could have used more reading lamps, and seat cushions on the banquette, but other than that, will highly recommend. Short drive from Lexington, KY.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children.

The cabin overall was nice. The views from the cabin were beautiful. The maintenance of the cabin could have been better. Several light bulbs were out, leaving the lower level very dark at night. The foldout couch, which we were relying on for sleeping accommodations for two people, was broken. It was very dusty throughout the home.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with teenagers.

Our group of family and friends consisted of 10 people from 4 years old to 66 years old. Most were in the 60+ range and a few had minor mobility problems. Still, the cabin met our needs, mainly a New Year's holiday reunion. Those with mobility issues could access the main (middle) floor via an outside staircase and stayed on that floor. Those who were able used the other two floors via a tight spiral staircase. While not remote, the cabin is in the back portion of a cabin resort area still very much in development. The area has several cliffs of interesting cliffs. Be sure to visit the helipad area. Because of the dangerous cliffs, children should be fully supervised. Three problem areas should be addressed (none expensive or complicated) to raise this cabin to a much higher standard. 1) The thermostat should be relocated from its position just opposite the gas fireplace to one not affected as much by the added heat; 2) The closet doors need replaced as the cheap bifold doors just do not work; 3) The interior walls are in need of sound insulation.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children.
