You will absolutely find yourself in another world in this five bedroom, four bath home located on the beautiful Treasure Cay beach, Abaco, Bahamas. On this 1.20-acre lot, you have a private pool and private beach to enjoy. The many windows in the living area offer a stunning view of the ocean andthe beach.
The inside of this impressive home offers a large living area with a stone fireplace and large tempered glass windows allowing a breathtaking view of the Sea of Abaco. The fully-equipped kitchen offers a built-in oven and microwave, side by side refrigerator, and a dishwasher. The connecting dining room has a lovely table which seats six to eight people. The master suite offers a king sized bed and a full bathroom with a connecting office or den. A separate spa room with a two-person jacuzzi tub is offered for your enjoyment.
Some extra amenities include: a washer/dryer unit, bicycles, beach and pool toys, DSL internet access, and also a food freezer. Another World is outfitted with four central air conditioning units and ceiling fans throughout the house.
The community of Treasure Cay has so much to offer for some fun. There are three and-a-half miles of beautiful white sand beaches,rated to be one of the top most beautiful beaches in the world by National Geographic magazine, an 18-hole golf course, a full service marina, shopping, restaurants (gourmet or you can enjoy classic island food), biking, and also boat and golf car rentals.

The house was perfect for our family. We brought our 6 month old and couldn't ask for a better housing arrangement. We have stayed in several other VRBO houses in the past and I have to say that Another World has the best beach and access. Treasure Cay is a great place to take a family and have a relaxing trip!!!

Our two families (4 adults 6 kids ranging in age from 12 to 18) just spent a great week at Another World. The house was perfect for us...even though it is one floor we never felt crowded. there are many places to gather..inside and out. The main living room is HUGE and well equipped. the kitchen, while dated, is very well equipped as well. the pool was great to have but we especially loved the easy access to the beautiful beach. we rented boats for the week from the TC marina and often brought them around and anchored right in front of the house. The area is relatively quiet but our teenagers found their fun at pizza and karaoke night at the marina, Nippers on Sunday etc. New beach bar - Treasure Sands Club - just opened and is a beautiful oasis at the far end of the beach. I highly recommend Another World for two families or extended family groups...superb location and great house.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Our family of 7 in three generations has stayed at Another World twice - and we're planning to go again in 2012. The house is beautiful, well maintained, and very comfortable. The owner and caretaker were a pleasure to work with, and the ad does a good job of presenting the house and surroundings.The kids love the pool, and we all love the Treasure Cay beach - one of the best in the world, and never crowded. A major asset is the laid-back, friendly village of Treasure Cay, with helpful people who have been helping vacationers for years. Things like golf cart rentals to get around, a decent grocery store, a wonderful bakery, taxi drivers who become your personal chauffeurs for distances too big for golf carts, a very friendly tennis pro at the available tennis courts (and more) - all made our family feel welcome and, especially, remembered the second time we came. And don't forget fabulous scuba diving or snorkeling trips with Brendal on Green Turtle Cay! There are only a few restaurants in the area, but all are good. Bahamian food, well prepared, and served with a smile. There are also special theme nights at the restaurants. No special recommendations - try them all! If you're looking for a quiet, friendly place for your family vacation, this is a wonderful spot, and Another World will be the perfect way to enjoy it. Regarding teenagers: it depends. Teens who enjoy family activities, swimming, and tennis will love the place. Teens who want a village teen hangout with loud music, etc. won't find it here.

A Wonderful Home in a Beautiful Setting on a Great Island

Right off the bat, your senses are in overload... the lovely front entrance leads to an open living room, and beyond that lies the backyard. Through the other side of the living room, you can see the rear deck and pool which are surrounded by tall palm trees and soft beach sand. The ocean is a mere 40 yards away. The interior of the house is comfortable and styled as you would expect an island house to be. The bedrooms are all private and inviting, though you will likely spend most of your day lounging by the pool. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and provides a nice sanctuary at the end of the day. The town of Treasure Cay is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the Bahamian lifestyle. All of the cab drivers are friendly if you need a ride, otherwise the available golf cart rentals provide a quick trip into the heart of the little community. I would recommend this house to my family and friends as a wonderful location to relax and enjoy the wonderful island of Abaco.

From the first time we spoke to the owner to when we closed the front door for the last time was a great experience. When you walk around the front sidewalk and you see the beautiful water and sand through the house you realize there are no words or pictures to describe the beauty. The house, pool, beach, and island exceeded all our expectations. All the extras with the house helped to keep us busy, biking, kayaking, and beach toys, we did not need to bring anything except our bathing suits. Having the pool was such a bonus that we used much more than we thought we would. The Treasure Cay Resort helped us make our son's rehearsal dinner perfect with the Spinaker Restuarant preparing a wonderful meal for us to have at the beachside Coco Bar and Grill. Cash's Golf Carts had our golf cart sitting in the driveway when we got there, and we were able to enjoy exploring the island at our leisure during the week. Renting a boat and going out to snorkel, find conch, and expore uninhabited islands was a great plus. We are telling our family and friends all about this jewel, Another World, we found and we look forward to returning to this little slice of paradise.
